“Where am I?” Lunella said to herself, her voice soft and full of worry. “DD, where are you? Are you there?” she said, looking around for her big red dinosaur companion. As Lunella walked around in the environment that was completely new to her, she suddenly heard a loud holler. There were soldiers chasing after her. She may not know much about this universe... but one thing she knows is that if random soldiers chase you with guns, you run.
As Lunella ran with every ounce of strength she had, she could feel herself getting tired -- knowing the trip from the portal must've taken a lot of her energy. Also, she's ten years old! What ten year old has enough strength to outrun over powered soldiers?
She staggered over the concrete that was cracked across the road. An arm grabbed her before she hit. Instead of standing back up, her entire body went up and over. Forced onto one of the soldier's shoulder. “Stay away!” Lunella screamed, wiggling her body around while attempting to push the guard away. "Who are you? Where am I?", trying her best to sound tough. "Just surrender and come with us willingly. Dont make this harder than it has to be, kid." The soldier commanded, his voice cold. "If you refuse we have no other choice but to use force against you."
Leonella didnt want this, she didnt want to be here. All she wants to do is to go home to her parents, to hear her dads failed jokes and to feel the warmth of her mothers hugs. She wanted to cry and shout, but she can't. After all, she is Moon Girl. What kind of hero would she be if she let herself captured? Now, being the logical child she is, she knows she's trapped. But hey, at least she has her legs!
As Lunella ran, trying her best to avoid getting shot by hiding behind random cars — she suddenly tripped. She knew her energy was gone and covered her mouth, hiding behind the car and drawing her legs to chest. She made sure to not breathe heavily and make even the slightest bit of noise. She wondered how her family is reacting to her disappearance. Oh god...her parents. Her father must be calling every neighbour he knows right know while her mother must be going to every police station or any volunteer centres to help. "Mom…daddy" she says, her voice barely a whisper. "I miss you".
Suddenly she hears footsteps walking slowly with a soft crunch of the floor. She closed her eyes too scared to open it when -
BOOM
She heard a loud explosion with people yelling, she peeked out from the car to see a guy with a blue and yellow uniform. The way he fought of the soldiers with his eyes made her astonished, yet scared. Who is he?
She tried to get up to try and run away from the commotion — but then a explosion came. She screamed in terror, which is when that guy, Cyclops, noticed her. His eyes widened, what is a child doing here? She shouldn't be here.
Cyclops tried his best to win against the enemies, but in the process, his visors tore off and he couldn't risk going all out and possibly killing the girl. So, he grabbed her tightly to protect her as he tried to regain control of his eyes.
He soon managed to close his eyes. Unfortunately, this resulted in getting captured whilst the girl was removed away.
Will this be the end?
No.
Moon girl and Cyclops will find a way out one way another no matter how difficult it will be.
But before that, before being taken away by the Alchemax soldiers, Moon Girl pressed a small button on her left wrist in order to signal her partner in crime, Devil Dinosaur, for help.
