Roommate

Lights turned on automatically all around the apartment. Lamps, fairy lights, and that weird multicolored disco ball Midnight really liked. It was eight-o-clock sharp! That’s when all the timers for the lights turned on. They would turn off in about six hours. Exactly as it should be. Predictable, organized, and orderly.

Order was everything.

Everything to Miriam. Who was very proud of the apartment as she surveyed her work. Yes it had been hard work to clean all the clothes off the floor, wash them, fold them, and then organize them by color in the closet and dressers. The stains on the carpet were harder to get out, but they were only visible once the magazines, clothes, and pizza boxes were removed. Then came the scrubbing which was meditative and enjoyable. After that the rugs needed to be cleaned and displayed properly. So did the picture frames. The many picture frames. Some did not have pictures inside of them, so those ones were placed in a closet.

Oh and the closet was full of everything. Shoes, boxes, wrappers, figurines, stickers, a bowling ball, golf clubs, jackets, balloons, an open jar of glitter, stuffed animals, a microwave (broken), a toaster oven (not broken), a leg of a chair, a tire, three candy bars, and six cockroaches. Most of those items were disposed of with the exception of the cockroaches which were burned. Midnight insisted on keeping the stuffed animals and bowling ball.

Miriam had learned to choose her battles on this matter.

Since living here she had disposed of nearly sixty-percent of the items in this apartment. A necessary course of action as it was difficult to walk through this home before. A two bedroom one and a half bathroom apartment had plenty of space to live in when it wasn’t covered in chaos.

But Miriam lived here now.

And chaos was ever her enemy.

So now everything had its place! Every item was organized and cleaned or thrown out. The apartment was nice now. It had clean white walls and soft brown carpet. Picture frames of various people and art hung on the walls along with that stop sign she was forbidden from getting rid of. A television stat atop of wooden stand that had shelves for those digital videos discs Midnight had so many of. The digital video discs were alphabetical organized on the television stand. Some had spread to the bookshelf which was more of a magazine and digital video disc shelf now. Miriam wished it had more books upon its oaken shelves.

Perhaps one day.

A timer beeped in the kitchen. Miriam moved towards the sudden sound just as the door opened. Her attention was divided. In the moment, she chose the door.

Midnight slinked into the apartment. Her jacket was half open revealing that overly small tank top that made her bosom spill all over the place. It was lovely shade of orange but Miriam could not look at it for long.

The rabbit woman looked up at Miriam as she reached down to remove her six inch heels. “Oh. Hey Angel. Waiting for me?”

Miriam nodded, though Midnight should know this. She always waited for her to get home. “Welcome home! Dinner should be ready. A moment, I need to check it posthaste,” she explained before scuttling away.

Midnight continued toss her stuff on small table by the door. Her jacket, her purse, her cards from that gathering game she was paid to play, and more as Miriam went to check on the oven. Inside was a very simple casserole. Cooking was difficult as she did not need to eat. What she had eaten was mostly whatever Midnight had given her. Usually donuts. After reading a few health books, Miriam had determined that a diet of donuts was not something a mortal woman could live on. Thus Miriam had to learn to cook things that were not donuts.

A casserole of potatoes, sausage, carrots, and cabbage. Very simple. It was said to be the “easiest beginner recipe” on at least three websites and amongst the cookbook she had read which were all the same recipe but with different stories attached.

Mortals were odd.

But her mortal needed to eat. Miriam took the casserole out of the oven, barehanded. It made her hands feel warm and tingly. She liked it. Once the food was properly out of the oven, Midnight appeared in the doorway having followed her nose.

“Ohh smells good,” the rabbit woman cooed.

“Yes! It appears to be at the optimal temperature!” Miriam smiled at her creation. She had used the thermometer to ensure everything was cooked. No raw meat this time!

“Smells like pepper. Did you season it this time?” Midnight leaned on the doorway. She smiled at Miriam with a hungry grin.

It made Miriam feel weird.

“I did! I did the seasonings this time. I used the pepper and the salt and the Italian blend. I used them!” Miriam gestured to the casserole. Her energy was quite high right now! Perhaps it was that smile.

Midnight surprised her further by slipping into the kitchen and laying a hand on Miriam’s back. She patted her on the back. “Good-”

“Oh!” Miriam gasped and took a step back. Midnight’s sultry expression turned to surprise. She raised a weary hand.

“Sorry Angel, I didn’t mean-”

“You did not. Apologies, I interrupted you.”

“No worries,” Midnight said in such a way that alleviated all worries. She offered Miriam a smile. “I won’t touch ya unless you want me too. Don’t worry, Angel.”

“Oh but.” That but hung in the air between them as much as the peppery smell of the casserole did. Miriam felt her face flush red and it only got redder when Midnight adjusted her tank top knowingly. Her breasts wobbled. Midnight was not wearing a bra, it would seem. The shadow of her nipples loomed within in the thin fabric. Miriam did her best to not note that. It was easier to ignore it.

Midnight slid a bit closer. Her tiny shorts struggled to contain her as she tapped her rear on the counter next to Miriam. "Butt what?” Midnight smirked. Without her jacket on, Midnight was very exposed to the air of the apartment. And exposed to Miriam’s eyes.

Something that Midnight always noticed.

The teasing was constant. So much so Miriam struggled to understand what was teasing and what was mortal slang. Even now, it was difficult to tell if the floozie before her was flirting or just asking her to repeat herself.

The smug grin told Miriam it may be the former.

“Midnight, please eat,” Miriam looked back to the casserole. The rabbit giggled, her entire bosom bouncing with her laugh. The room felt warmer.

“Eat what, Angel?” she asked. This answer was very obvious. Midnight seemed to understand as she moved away from the concerned celestial and towards the food. There she grabbed a warm carrot from the dish and lifted it to her mouth.

From there she extended her tongue to lick the carrot. The pink tongue gliding across the smooth surface of the carrot. It moved left and right, coating it in a thick layer of her own saliva before she plunged it into her mouth wrapping it around her lips. She slid the carrot in and out of her lips while making eye contact with Miriam. Her soft lips clad in black lipstick that shone in the light of the room, glistening like stars that she gazed at during those lonely nights and this did not seem like eating!

“That does not look like eating!” Miriam squealed.

Midnight bit down on the carrot and chewed. “What?” she said with a full mouth.

“Why are you doing that!?”

“Doing what? I’m eating aren’t I?”

Miriam’s face was red as her own hair now. Perhaps it was best to leave her be to her dinner. She did oh so enjoy eating meals with her even if eating was not needed for an Angel. It was nice. Spending time together was nice.

The flustered red-head left the kitchen to go sit down. Midnight had a two person couch that Miriam was fond of reading on. Once she retreated she heard the clattering of silverware and a plate form the kitchen. Good. That was a good sign she would actually eat.

“Thanks for the carrots,” Midnight said from the kitchen. A thank you. How rare.

“You are welcome,” Miriam said back as she searched for one of her books to read. By the time she fond it, Midnight had emerged from the kitchen with a plate. A look from her told Miriam that she was wondering if they were going to eat together.

If Midnight behaved she may just. “So,” Midnight started, “are you going to eat with me or nah?”

“Depends on if you can behave,” the angel sighed.

“Hehe. I’ve been a bad girl haven’t I?” she winked at Miriam. This made her drop the book she had just picked up. “Ooo that one get to ya?”

This was growing tiresome.

“Midnight! You are relentless!” Miriam snapped at her. “You have needs you must meet, so please eat instead of soliciting me! This is nigh harassment and I have enjoyed our time together as roommates and as friends but please just-”

“Just what? Cmon I’m doing you a favor by letting you crash her to avoid your angel student or whatever. If you’re so unhappy you can just…go,” Midnight replied, her voice growing quiet at the end. Miriam moved closer to her and Midnight set the plate down on their little dinning table. It clattered against the table louder than either of them would have liked.

This was not the outcome Miriam wanted. Perhaps she was being too cruel. Midnight was a sinful harlot, it was difficult to control herself. A life of sin is the only life she knew. It was prudent to be patient with such folk.

“Midnight, I-”

“No,” Midnight stepped closer to her. No strut or sleazy slide. It was a careful approach. Her eye bags were more visible now even under her heavy makeup. “I’m sorry. I keep thinking you’re into it, into me, but uh. Yeah. Sorry.”

Miriam felt worse now. Midnight did not usually get like this. She must be especially tired. Most of the time when she came home from entertaining she was upset or raving that she lost every game again. Sometimes she was happy her patrons took her dating advice well, but usually she was fiery.

“No no, Midnight,” Miriam reached down to grab her hand. It was soft and warm. Glitter was all over it and her black nail polish was shiny. “I…do not think everything you say is bad. It just, well, it makes me feel weird and then I lash out at you. I do not mean to be cruel towards you.”

Midnight’s smirk returned. “Oh? You don’t hate it when I flirt with you?”

“Well,” Miriam felt the blush creeping back, “its something I’ve grown used to so its expected and not something detested, I understand you are like this and it is merely your sinful-why are you looking at me like that?”

Those deep eyes were devouring Miriam right now. She suddenly felt vulnerable. Like a rabbit before a wolf. Why was her heart beating so quickly? Why was her chest feeling so tight? Was that her hand sweating or Midnight’s?

Midnight gripped her hand a bit tighter and drew in close to Miriam’s face. Her breath was warm and smelled of pepper and carrots. “You liiike me,” she giggled.

“Oh Midnight please, you are acting like a babe.”

“Hehe. Well thank you, Angel,” Midnight said as she pulled back and pulled Miriam into a hug. The Angel gasped as she was directed forward and collapsed into the rabbit’s waiting arms. She gave her a lovely, soft hug that felt like a warm blanket. Those giant breasts were soft and pillowy and it was enough to make Miriam fidget in place. But instead of doing anything she leaned against her and let out a sound that embarrassed her deeply.

Midnight giggled. It was polite of her. “Wow, you’re burning up huh? You feel hot as hell.”

“I-I-”

“What? Bunny got your tongue?” Midnight looked down at Miriam who was still slumped into her arms. Without thinking she leaned down, closer to her face.

Without thinking, Miriam leaned up. Their lips next to each other.

What happened next confused Miriam and perhaps Midnight too. The two woman were staring into each other’s eyes one moment, and the next Miriam could taste that peppery carrot as Midnight’s tongue was in her mouth.

It was wet and warm and altogether like nothing she had ever done before. Her lips were soft. They felt nice on her own. There was only a slight hint of tobacco being shared in their spit. Black lipstick was smearing on her lips and mouth. Midnight’s hands went to Miriam’s hips and for some reason Miriam leaned in. Opposite to everything she had ever said, she leaned in.

She wasn’t kissing her. That’s not what this was. Midnight was kissing Miriam, not the other way around. Her mouth wasn’t moving, her tongue was only lightly touching the whore’s tongue. The sound she was making was weird but it was one of panic! Not one of pleasure. Temptations of the flesh do not apply to Angels like Miriam. They do not.

They do not.

Do angels move away from someone when they’re kissing them? They should, she thought.

Miriam did not move away.

She let Midnight continue until she pulled back from a long minute of tasting each other, a bit of spittle clung to Midnight’s lips. Miriam wasn’t looking there, however. It was those violet eyes of hers that held her attention. Despite the rabbit woman being shorter than her, Miriam felt small right now.

“Heh. Ya like that, Angel?” Midnight chuckled.

Miriam’s face was red with shame. Her hands folded in on themselves as she shifted her vision downwards. The pair of women were close to each other now. Midnight had looped a finger into the belt loops of Miriam’s khakis. She tugged them a little bit, pushing Miriam’s chest against Midnight’s bountiful ocean of a bosom.

“I-I have not a clue what happened, I-” Miriam stopped as Midnight landed a kiss atop her head. This made her make another embarrassing noise. It got Midnight’s ears to perk up, the big floppy things straightening up.

“Don’t worry about it, Angel. I kiss a lot of people,” she said with a smile. It was her usual sleazy kind of smile. It gave Miriam a rotten feeling. Like her heart was withering away. Like mushrooms grew inside her. It only got worse when Midnight let go of her belt loops. Oh it got so much worse. Midnight’s warmth was gone. All that was left was a cold rotting.

Miriam reached out for her.

This made Midnight’s ears really perk up. “Oh? What Angel you want another kiss?” She asked. Her smile faded when she looked at Miriam’s face. “Are you okay?”

“Please do not-” Miriam shut herself up. She bit her tongue and remembered her prayers. But they brought her no comfort. She craved that touch again, a gentle touch. It was horrible. Nothing could comfort her. No mantra or prayer. Every virtue in the world could do nothing for her now. Angels were not supposed to feel this way. They were not supposed to feel so lonely. She felt so alone. Nothing could comfort her. Nothing except…

“…please…touch me. Do not leave me here.” Miriam gently grasped at her hand. Midnight’s hand froze as the Angel tugged on it. There was no lewd or teasing comment. She hardly reacted. It was like someone hit her off switch in that moment.

A few tense seconds passed.

Midnight’s hand twitched. It gently reached back to hold Miriam’s hand. A sad little smile sat on the rabbit woman’s face. She looked at her roommate in a way her roommate had never seen. It was a bizarre look. It was another unreadable mortal expression. Mortals always had such varied expressions, nothing like the ones Miriam practiced in the mirror. Midnight’s emotions were typical obvious, but this new face caught the divine woman off guard. It felt too honest. At least she thought it was honest because in that moment she saw herself in her friend’s eyes. In her eyes and smile.

“I can do that,” Midnight nodded. She slipped closer to Miriam. A confident move back into her personal space, but her sad smile hadn’t changed. It hadn’t changed when she leaned up to kiss her again.

The second kiss felt better. She wasn’t as surprised this time. Lips were still soft too. Taste was still peppery. Her mouth was so wet. Her tongue too. This made her smile. Of course her mouth was wet. Why wouldn’t it be?

Perhaps sensing her lack of focus, Midnight slipped a finger back in Miriam’s belt loop. Her other hand reached past her belt and moved to her hips. The touch of her hand there snapped her back to the moment. An odd feeling surged withing Miriam. A ticklish, warm feeling flooded her. It only got stronger as Midnight’s hand roamed further back, crawling to her rear. Her fingers spread out to grasp a gentle handful of her butt.

Midnight pulled on her belt loop and her rump. Miriam bumped into her with another embarrassing sound. That made the rabbit chuckle in her mouth. “Fuck, I love hearing that sound,” she cooed.

“L-language,” Miriam reminded her while their lips were still touching.

“Sorry, Angel. I’m in charge right now.” She squeezed Miriam’s rear again. Harder this time. That warm feeling bloomed further. She gasped. “Unless that’s not okay? Whimper for yes, and moan for no,” Midnight smirked. Her lecherous smile had returned. Miriam was about to reply, but Midnight did such a strange thing with her leg. Controlling where she was with her belt loop and posterior, she pulled her to the side and into her knee. The knee raised and landed in between her legs. She pulled some more.

Miriam felt explosive. She was going to erupt! Or something. What was this feeling? She was involuntarily making some breathy sound. The embarrassing kind. Midnight kept pulling Miriam harder and harder upon her knee. The Angel’s crotch was feeling so strange. So warm and oh! Oh something was wet. Was it Midnight’s knee?

The celestial began to feel woozy. Her head was all hot and her tongue was almost numb now. Midnight continued to kiss her relentless as she tugged her on her knee. It was all so much.

“C’mon, you little nun. Doesn’t that feel good? Don’t you like feeling slutty?” Midnight teased her as she pilled off her mouth and moved her lips to Miriam’s neck. She kissed her neck with a wet fury. Her teeth nipping at her skin. Miriam made an embarrassing sound. A moan! That’s what it was. She was moaning.

Was she in pain? What was this feeling? Her head was swimming. Positively drowning in strange emotions and sensations and oh she was going to explode! She was she really was! Was it going to hurt?

“Midnight! Wait-ooahh!” Miriam moaned into a shout. Golden red light exploded from the Angel as her wings fully unfolded from her back. Holy light and warm fire emanated from her body as she assumed her true form. Except her golden armor did not appear around her body. Nor did her sword.

Instead she was gasping there with a very surprised Midnight. She was still holding her belt loop and grabbing her butt but now Miriam was fully in her angelic form. Wings, feathers and all.

“Uh,” Midnight said as a stray feather floated by her nose. "You okay? You’re not gonna kill me for that, right?”

“No!” Miriam immediately replied. “I would never hurt you.” This made her friend smile. Miriam continued: “I was feeling strange. My entire body was heating up and I was getting warm and there was this moisture between my legs. It’s still there actually. And I didn’t know what to do, I tried to say something but then I-”

Midnight put a finger to Miriam’s golden lips. “Did you just cum?”

“What is cum?” Miriam asked with the finger still to her lip, her marble like skin glistening with sweat. Midnight dragged her finger across her roommate's lips, slipping it into her mouth to gently guide her by the teeth closer to her face.

“It’s something I’m going to get you very familiar with.” She slid another finger into Miriam’s mouth. They were soft and she found her lips wrapping around them on instinct. Midnight grinned. “Good girl. There’s a slut in you, and we’re gonna find it. Let’s go to the bed.”

Miriam was confused why they needed to sleep now, but let herself be guide by the fingers pulling her cheek. Midight tugged the taller woman along as she move them to her bedroom. It was recently cleaned courtesy of Miriam. The bed was even made. Midnight commented on none of it. Instead she pulled her roommate to the bed. Wings craned to avoid being squished as Miriam hit the comfortable surface. Midnight followed suit and crawled on top of her.

A third finger was added to Miriam’s mouth. A small moan left her as she felt Midnight tap her tongue. “Suck on them. Get used to it. You’re going to be doing this a lot.” She grinned wickedly. Miriam did exactly as she was told. She had only sucked on suckers and straws before. This was a bit different. Midnight kept moving her fingers inside her mouth. Pulling on her cheeks, or rubbing her tongue. So much saliva was building up in her mouth. It was starting to spill down her lips and make a mess on her chin. Midnight slipped her fingers in and out of Miriam’s mouth. She moaned a little.

“Fuck. This is so hot,” Midnight mumbled more to herself than to Miriam.

“Lhaunghe,” Miriam scolded her, fingers still in her mouth. This got a chuckle from Midnight. Then she got a thinking face as those fingers kept sliding around Miriam’s warm and eager mouth. Something about this was making her feel weird. That explosive feeling was tingling at the edge of her body again.

Midnight abruptly hooked her fingers to pull Miriam’s face upward by her teeth. Not harshly, but with enough force to make Miriam gasp. “Tell ya what, Angel. I got an idea. Let’s see if I can’t make you see your heave,” Midnight smirked. She pulled her wet fingers out of her mouth and gently patted the saliva off on Miriam’s face making it even messier. “Take your pants off, slut.”

The angel found herself doing just that despite the niggling feeling she probably shouldn’t. This was wrong. Right? This was sex. They weren’t married and they were both women. They shouldn’t do this. Why was Miriam currently unbutton and unzipping her pants? She did not know. Perhaps curiousity would not kill the bird.

Midnight hopped off the bed and rustled through her dresser. She pulled a strange purple thing out of the dresser and another thing with black straps. Miriam wasn’t sure what those were. A bigger distraction had her attention. There was a great deal of wetness spilling from her. As she removed her pants, she noticed her undergarments were positively flooded. There was an odor to it too.

“Alright, I got my strap on now—whoa lets see you spread them—wow your wet. Holy shit. You little whore, you must’ve been really…liking…this,” Midnight’s smile faded. So did Miriam’s. “Not really a little whore. More like a big one. Uh. Huh. Fuck.” Midnight dropped her strange items. Her hands combed through her air as her eyes widened. “Fuck fuck FUCK! What am I doing!?”

“Midnight-”

“Am I going to actually have sex with an angel? What am I doing!? Holy shit, I’m fucking this up. I’m- actually fucking— goddammit —do you want to do this? I’m forcing you into this, aren’t I? You’re such a prude normally but I’m gonna go to turbo hell for this or some shit. I ruined it, I’m so stupid.” Midnight’s words spilled out of her like water from a river.

Miriam found herself in a very different position now. She had said sex. They were going to have sex. This…was it wasn’t it? Except Midnight was so panicked right now something was clearly wrong. Perhaps it was born from her temptations or perhaps it was born from her desire to reassure Midnight that the celestial decided to speak: “Midnight. You seem very worried. I can assure you turbo hell is not a real thing. Hell is real, but turbo hell is not. Secondly, you’re not stupid. I find you clever and intelligent. Thirdly, I am here. Relax. Take a breath with me. I want to be here right now. I can easily over power all threats, and I have chosen to be here. Right now. I-” Miriam stopped. She took a deep breath herself and closed her eyes. “I am worried too. Scared perhaps. Or maybe I am excited? This is not a situation I have ever been in before. But I trust you. You and only you. I do not want to be apart from you now. Please, I want to do this.” Miriam avoided the word. Midnight seemed to notice but was breathing calmly along with the angel. After another breath she put her hands up.

“Okay. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can do this. Gimmie a sec,” Midnight excused herself, almost running out of the room. Miriam’s heart sank until the rabbit woman returned from her brief rustling around in the hall closet. She had a bottle of alcohol in her hand.

This shocked Miriam. “I thought we got rid of all of those,” she huffed. Midnight said she had.

“Heh. Whoops! Must have hid them instead! Hey keep giving me that pouty look and I’m gonna get hornier,” Midnight announced. She took a quick drink from the bottle and shivered. “I need the liquid courage if I’m gonna top a fucking divine being.” She took another drink from the bottle before setting it down on the top of the dresser.

“Language.”

“Love you too,” she said setting the bottle on the dresser. Then Midnight climbed into bed with the strange purple thing and the other weird thing. Midnight looked at her with awe and giggled. “Wow. This is really happening. Well, if anything hurts or you wanna stop just let me know. We’re gonna start simple I think.”

Miriam kind of understood. She watched Midnight set her things down on the bed next to them. Then she gently scooted closer. The rabbit woman was between her legs now. They were spread and her sopping undergarments were the only thing between them. A red heat spread through Miriam. She could feel it in her face.

“Take your shirt off, Angel. I wanna see all of you.” Midnight bit her lip as she watched Miriam following her orders. Miriam was left in her bra feeling all the more vulnerable.

“A-aren’t you going to undress too?” she squeaked out a question.

“Oh I am. I can even give ya bit of a show ya know. I didn’t spend all those years stripping for nothing.” Midnight winked at her. Her hands glided towards her body and seductively moved over her bust. This was enticing so far.

But Miriam didn’t want a show. She wanted Midnight.

Without a word, she reached over and simply pulled her tiny tank top up, reveling her black lacy bra. A very different bra than the plain white one Miriam was wearing. When Midnight gave Miriam a look she replied, “I don’t want a show. You know my opinion on your “stripping job”. I am not some sleezy man in need of entertainment. I am here for you.”

Now it was Midnight’s turn to flush red. She chuckled and reached a hand to Miriam’s cheek. “Thanks, Angel,” she said right before she leaned in to kiss her.

The pair reengaged in their frenching. Midnight gently guided Miriam to lay back as their tongues met. It was another warm, wet kiss. One that made Miriam feel funny. All her focus was on it, on trying to properly kiss Midnight back. She barely noticed that Midnight was now ontop of her, one hand holding her head to gently guide her, and the other hand was at her crotch. It was pressing on her wet underwear.

A gently tap and a soft rub was all it took to get Miriam to jump. Her wings twitched underneath her, feathers went up close to Midnight’s head. This spooked her for a moment. Then she chuckled again. Hand met crotch again as her advances continued. Gentle rubbings on the wet cloth of her undergarments. She was touching her most sensitive area. Perhaps that wasn’t quite sinful if there was cloth between them like this.

Fingers slid the underwear to the side as they made direct contact with her vagina.

Ah. There went that chaste idea and most of Miriam’s focus. She felt her wings flutter underneath her again as her back arched. A loud moan echoed between them. Midnight still held her head. Their breaths batted at each other’s faces.

“That’s right. Sing for me, Angel. Be a good girl,” she whispered. Miriam could only moan at her. It was like her brain was dissolving. Midnight had barely touched her. Now she was rubbing her. Fingers gently glided across her folds and her soaked hole. A finger rubbed at a particular spot and Miriam jerked so suddenly her legs smacked into Midnight. She only laughed. “Damn. Are all angels this excited to have someone touch their pussy? I haven’t even fingered you yet.”

The commentary annoyed Miriam. She squinted her golden eyes at Midnight, who was all too smug in her current position.

A finger slid in.

Miriam wiggled again. Midnight laughed. She slid a finger deep into Miriam’s pussy? That’s what she called it. It felt phenomenal. The sensation was like nothing she had ever felt before. Her entire body reacted to it. She feared that she would leave this bed full of feathers.

Her roommate was unbothered by the feathers. If anything it excited her. Her grin was already so wide. Something about her smile made Miriam feel strange too. It wasn’t the same feeling as when her pussy was touched, but it was a new feeling.

There was little time to ponder as Midnight had slid a second finger inside her. She viciously assailed her, those finders making slick rapid sounds. Miriam felt as though she may scream. The sensations rocked her body like lighting. It felt so good. She wanted more.

“Check this shit out,” Midnight boasted. She kept the two fingers inside Miriam’s pussy and landed her thumb just above it. It touched a particular spot on her vagina that made her wings flutter.

Miriam shouted.

A mixture of panic, pleasure, and something else flooded her. Midnight took the shout as encouragement and continued to finger her while moving her thumb above that particular spot. It was enough to make the Angel’s toes curl. She didn’t know what to do. This was so much.

Liquid continued to gush from her warm hole as Midnight worked on her like a demon from hell. The scent their sex filled the room and Miriam’s body was heating up again. That explosive feeling was welling up inside of her. She wanted to grab at something. She wanted to scream.

So she did both.

Miriam cried out and grabbed at Midnight. The rabbit woman spooked for moment, but found Miriam’s hand. She grasped it tightly as she pressed hard against that sensitive button of the Angel’s.

Miriam’s entire body convulsed. She felt a rush of euphoria and then a rush of sensations that made her body tense up. Midnight laughed in triumph but held her hand gently. “Aha there’s another. What a good little girl you are. How was that? Do you like cumming?”

It was difficult to reply right now.

Miriam squeezed Midnight’s hand. She squeezed back. A couple of heavy breathes later, the angel spoke: “That was illuminating!” she said, (“god damn you really do talk like a nun,” Midnight mumbled). “This was an entirely new experience. I’m not sure what to think of it. I think it feels distressing.”

Midnight tilted her head to the side, her rabbit ears flopping along. “But it feels good right?”

Miriam wasn’t sure how to answer. “Yes? No? Perhaps both?”

“Do you want to stop?”

“I want to continue.”

“Alright. If you say so my slut with wings.” Midnight winked at her. She let go of her hand which distressed Miriam until she realized what was next. Her roommate was busy wiggling her shorts off. That massive rear of her’s was a little too big for the shorts. With some effort, she got them and slipped her thong off exposing her own vagina.

Midnight reached up and hung her thong on Miriam’s right wing as she stood up on the bed. Miriam went to protest but the rabbit woman got above Miriam’s head and lowered herself down onto the angel’s face. Her warm, wet pussy pressing against the confused woman’s face.

The smell was invigorating. Miriam shivered. It was like no scent she had ever experienced. It was Midnight in her most pure state distilled down to an odor. Something about it made her twitch. Instinctually she felt her tongue slipping out of her mouth to taste her. It was sweet and bitter at the same time.

Much like how Midnight was in her personality.

Miriam began to lick at her warm bunny. Midnight made a sound above her and reached a hand down to grab Miriam’s hair. She held onto it for balance before grinding her wet pussy against Miriam’s tongue. Her roommate moaned. What a beautiful sound. The angel wanted to hear more of it. She pressed her face against the messy hole. Her tongue moving up and down and around it.

“A little higher,” Midnight whispered. Her breaths were short and tense.

Miriam obeyed.

Midnight made a sound that she had yet to hear from the woman. She liked it. When she looked up at her, the bunny smiled back at her. She gently scratched Miriam’s head. They held eye contact like this for a moment. Something stirred in Miriam. Something warm and glowing. A good feeling. She wanted to do better.

So she redoubled her efforts, licking harder at the high spot. Midnight wiggled. Her body shivered and her grip around Miriam’s head tighter. She let out satisfied yes as the angel kept going and going. Those warm juices kept flooding her mouth with a flavor she couldn’t place. What an interesting taste.

“Oh fuck.”

“Langshuage,” Miriam scolded her while she kept drinking her up.

“Oh shut up-houngghh,” Midnight moaned. Her thighs tightened around Miriam’s head in an effort to keep her quiet. Angel skulls were much stronger than bunny thighs so she was not worried. Something about this felt like danger to her. It was a specific kind of thrill. She felt herself shiver.

Midnight moaned again. Her hand gripped Miriam’s hair tighter and tighter. This was it, Miriam thought. She did her best to continue licking and prodding at that button. Her tongue slithered around it, lapped at it, as much as she could muster. Angels do not tire. This was an easy task.

Fuck,” Midnight whispered as he entire body clenched up. Her muscles spasmed. The woman whimpered as pleasure rocked through her body.

There she was. A beautiful sight to see. The lights of Heavens could hardly do her justice. This moment was like nothing Miriam had seen in any world. This woman who was so dear to her was enraptured in pleasure that was gifted to her by Miriam and no one else. No one else could see this. A private treasure. Her treasure. Greed was never a sin that Miriam had been guilty of for it was her cardinal opposite. She was born from charity and resisted greed with great ease. This moment made her feel a tinge of greed. The desperate need to keep this moment with her forever.

But no.

It was not greed, this was charity. It was her gift to Midnight, this moment. This pleasure. It was charity. Perhaps it would be selfish to covet this sight. Midnight breathing hard, holding onto Miriam’s own hair with fearful grip. The way the sweat trickled down her breasts. Her nipples supple and soft. Ever was she so soft. The thighs clenching around Miriam’s head were like pillows. Her pillows.

Midnight looked down at her. The golden eyes of Miriam were firmly affixed to her already. The pair held eye contact. They continued to stare at each other as Midnight shakily removed herself from Miriam’s face. The angel lifted her head from the bed to meet Midnight who had partially collapsed from the movement. Miriam caught her.

They shared a kiss.

A warm wet one that tasted of Midnight’s essence. Those juices dripped from the angels lips and chins making occasional droplet stains on the bed.

“You really are an angel, huh,” Midnight whispered.

“You are beautiful,” Miriam replied. The roommate looked away, her eyes downcast. No real thoughts possessed her as Miriam instinctually reached out to put her hand on Midnight’s face to gently guide her eyes back to her. “I speak true.”

“When you say it like that, I almost want to believe you.” Midnight looked away again, but her face was still in Miriam’s grasp.

“I have traveled worlds and seen much. Both the greatest heights of man and his lowest valleys. I have faced war and death and worse a thousand times over. I have tasted death more than once and risen anew each time. I have watched comrades die and be devoured by demons that create disaster with their footsteps. I have battled on worlds and watched them die. I have battled on worlds and brought them salvation.

“So it is with absolute certainty that I say I have never seen a vista that can match you. You are beautiful.”

Midnight could only lean forward and kiss Miriam. She had no response. Miriam hardly knew what possessed her in this moment. Perhaps there was an inkling niggling at the back of her golden mind, but it would not show itself to her right now. The pair stayed like this for a moment with lips locked in a gentle kiss. Midnight pulled herself against Miriam in awkward hug. Some feathers fluttered off of Miriam. She wasn’t sure what to do.

Midnight held her tight. Tighter than she ever had. The two of them did not hug as roommates. Only once or twice before and Midnight never looked happy when they did. This time Midnight wasn’t just happy. She relieved. Relaxed. Maybe elated.

Minutes passed. Miriam thought to ask if the sex was done or if this was a part of it when Midnight spoke up: “I want to fuck you, Miriam.”

“Language.” Midnight kissed her in retaliation. “Please continue.”

“I want to have sex with you. I know we’ve been doing that, but like, I wanna be in you. If that makes sense,” she explained. This idea confused Miriam has Midnight did have her fingers inside of Miriam’s most sensitive area earlier. She nodded in confused agreement. Midnight smiled an easy smile at her.

The rabbit woman let her go and sat up. She grabbed that strange purple thing that was laying around on the bed. There were some belts attached to it which she used to wrap around herself. A few click and now that purple thing dangled from her still leaking vagina. It had such an unusual shape. Midnight swung her hips side to side as it wobbled. She grinned in satisfaction and looked back to the confused bird.

“Ah.” Midnight blushed. “You don’t know what this is, huh?”

Miriam shook her head. “It is very purple.”

“It is! Love purple. But this is my strap-on. It’s called that cause I strap it on. And this purple bit goes inside you kinda like a penis would. Only you won’t get pregnant cause its not real and its ribbed for your pleasure and all that. Actually can people get Angels pregnant? Is that a thing? Okay your face says you’re getting scared so I'll stop. Sorry,” Midnight rambled.

“That was a lot of words. Alas I have already sunk so low in my sin, this is something I am okay doing too. It is an…interesting concept,” Miriam stated.

“I’ll go slow, promise,” Midnight said as she crawled towards Miriam who was still laying down. The bunny grabbed her legs and gently pulled herself closer to her — she kissed Miriam’s marbled knees as she pulled those legs to the side of her — all so that she could press that purple strap-on at Miriam’s still wet hole. The Angel’s wings flinched at the sensation. Midnight gently grasped Miriam’s thigh. “I won’t hurt you,” Midnight assured her.

Miriam could only nod. These strange feelings were coming back. It was as though she was being poisoned even when no mortal poison could prosper against her. When the silicon member began to push inside her, Miriam truly began to feel strange.

It was like when Midnight has put her fingers in her except it was also different. The feeling of Midnight being on top of her as she pushed that instrument inside her. It was different. Maybe it was because they could look each other in the eyes while it happened. The sensation of Midnight’s skin on her own as she pressed against her. The warmth of her body, the little droplets of sweat dribbling off of her and onto Miriam.

Truly there was nothing like this in the heavens. Nothing made her ache like this. Her wings were stretching in a way she didn’t know they could. Her feathers were ruffled and puffed upwards. Little bumps rose on her gray and white skin like when she was scared.

When the strap-on pushed deeper inside her, Miriam made a noise she didn’t know she could make. Midnight looked at her in shock and followed that expression with one of pure delight. She grinned from ear to ear. Those long aforementioned ears twitching with joy. She gave Miriam a moment or two to get used to how it felt inside her before pulling back and thrusting back in.

The angel moaned.

Thrust after thrust shook the foundations of her world. This was never a place she thought she would be. Underneath a mortal who was inside her, satisfied with the sounds Miriam kept making. Sounds that involuntarily left her mouth. There was no use in fighting it. Her body had utterly betrayed her for reasons she didn’t understand.

It did feel good, but everything in Miriam’s head told her that this was wrong. Especially because it felt good. The way that silicon thing plunged into her wet depths, rubbing against her most sensitive places. The tightness her body had felt since the war was slowly unwinding. After every moan, after every whispered name, she managed to relax.

Just a little.

Midnight smiled down at her. Some of her dark bangs were clinging to her sweaty face. Miriam looked up at her widened eyed. No words were spoken between them. Instead the mortal leaned down and kissed her on the lips. Their soft lips touched each other as Midnight kept thrusting, her hips as powerful as ever. Miriam moaned into the kiss. Midnight chuckled into it.

Kissing her was nice. Miriam liked it. She think she liked Midnight too. Everything in her world had become so strange, so alien to her. Midnight was strange too except there was more than just strangeness. When Miriam kissed her, when she touched her, when Midnight arrived home late at night to find Miriam waiting for her, whenever Midnight returned from the store with those delicious sunflower seeds that she only purchased because she knew Miriam liked them, and even right now as they do the sinful act of sex.

Guilt gnawed at her like bugs. Miriam closed her eyes to enjoy as much as she could. The warmth, the chuckle, the feeling over their bodies mixing together, the taste of her. She let herself enjoy it, just this once. At some point between the sounds and hands and strap-on, Miriam felt her entire body convulse. A sound between a moan and a scream left her with her wings stretching fully out. Everything felt so sensitive. The angel heated up to an almost dangerous degree as her holy fire began to sizzle inside of her.

“Oh spicy!” Midnight said, pulling off of her heavenly partner. The strap left Miriam’s insides and she twitched again. Her whole body tingled in response, a deep feeling of isolation gripped her followed by a tidal wave of guilt.

Midnight was watching her, waiting for her to cool down. Miriam looked at her and her face must have said something because the mortal quickly embraced her. She scuttled back to her and wrapped her arms around her head. The angel could feel the soft squish of her breasts. Miriam laid her head against them as she took a deep breath.

“Was it that bad?”

Miriam shook her head. “What?”

“You’re crying,” she replied. Miriam wiped at her face. To her surprise she was indeed crying though she hadn’t the faintest idea why. Midnight felt hesitant. Mortal’s emotions were always easy to feel in the air the way one might taste or see. She could not see her face, but with a more clear mind she could tell something was wrong.

And something was wrong, wasn’t it?

The tears Miriam shed were not stopping. She didn’t know what to do. Something was wrong with her friend and all she could do was cry. It would not do. There must have been some succor she could gift her. Words of comfort or a touch. It hurt to think about this.

“Miriam?”

“Apologies,” Miriam blurted out. Her breath shook in her chest and her words. All of her was shaking. Midnight gripped onto her tighter, her face still was contorted as she looked down at Miriam. The Angel dare not look up at her.

“Angel, I’ve never seen you shake before. What’s wrong? What are you sorry for?” Midnight wiped tears from her face.

Was she shaking? Miriam wasn’t sure. It’s true very little could make her falter. She had slayed demons before with a heart full of courage, if this was fear that was ravaging her heart then it was a fear she had never felt before. War, monsters, and death itself had not affected her so.

“I do not know,” Miriam whispered.

“Was it the sex?”

“No? Yes?” Midnight’s face twisted again at her answer. Miriam somehow felt worse than she did before. “I think,” Miriam tried her best to offer some comfort. “It was enjoyable. That is not the issue at hand.” Her body shuddered. These feelings were tearing her heart in half. “I cannot describe. Apologies. This act, this us. It is wrong.”

Years of teachings come flooding back to Miriam. Virtue, Holy Purity, efficiency. Perfect Angelic society where everyone has their place, everyone has their duty, and no one ever steps out of line. Everything must be uniform. Chaos is for demons. Individuality breeds chaos. The greatest of all sins is Chaos. The deadliest of them all.

A wrinkle in the cloth shall be smoothed out.

Miriam felt her soul wrinkle.

“Angel. With all do respect, shut the fuck up,” Midnight kiss her head. The soft touch of her lips upon her hair was a balm to her wrinkled soul. Ever was she so soft. So pleasant. She felt herself nuzzle against her chest.

“It’s sinful, it’s not how Angels are supposed to behave,” Miriam mumbled. Midnight flicked her head. The weepy angel looked up at her.

The rabbit woman stuck out her tongue. “Yeah yeah whatever. Sunday School said I was going to hell too, okay? Look,” she paused, briefly collecting herself before her brows scrunched into anger. “I hate hearing you say this about yourself. I am a weird, fuck up of a woman, but I sure as hell aren’t gonna let you talk this way about yourself. Angel, since we’ve met you’ve saved my life like six times! And that’s just me! Blake, Hardy, and Helen have all had their assess saved by you and so have a ton of other people! You save people’s lives all the time! And you never ask for anything. You complain about my apartment, but I know what yours looked like before you moved in with me.

“It was empty. Completely empty. You didn’t even have a bed. And I know angels don’t need sleep like normal people, but like, its sad! It’s sad to see you do such awesome stuff without ever letting yourself be happy, dammit! Let yourself be happy! Just once! Please.”

The words hung in the air for what felt like minutes. Midnight’s eyes began to gather with tears much like how Miriam’s had before. These were a different kind of tears. Emotions were something that she could sense. Angels struggled to understand mortals otherwise, but this made Miriam’s situation more challenging. All of the emotions wrapped in Midnight’s heart and tears were so myriad she could not decipher exactly what she meant.

Thus she did her best to focus on her words.

Miriam leaned up and kissed Midnight on her lips. Midnight kissed her back. That was enough of an answer, but she still offered one made of words. “I will try.” In truth, Miriam had no idea how to try. She only knew she was tired. So utterly tired of this. Not of Midnight. No, she felt strongly about Midnight. More than she ever had about anyone. No one had ever made her feel this way. There was love in her family, yes. This was not love, not as she knew it. She had made comrades with fellow warriors. This comradery was different. Everything about Midnight was different.

The soft touch of her skin, the perfume mixed with the gentle scent of her sweat, the way her cheeks rose when she smiled or laughed. Heaven was nothing next to the radiant light that she exuded.

“You are radiant,” Miriam said softly. Midnight ran her hand through the flaming red locks that cascaded down the angel’s head.

“Right back at ya.”

“Apologies for my outburst earlier. I think my emotions for you are complex. I love you like nothing else,” Miriam replied. Midnight coughed in response. And kept coughing.

The angel pulled her head away from her chest as Midnight looked panicked, but before she could assist her she bolted upright. Miriam tilted her head. This was odd even for Midnight. The rabbit woman winced. “Ahhh well I don’t-I mean, come on. Me? You love me? I know I’m crazy good at sex but I’m not sure I’m the love of your life, Angel.”

The Angel’s brow furrowed. “Well that is a thing to tell me after we have copulated. Now we are mated for life.”

What?

“Angels mate for life. When we chose to give ourselves to someone, it cannot be retracted,” she re-explained.

“I didn’t know that!”

“I have said this many times. Usually after you make a comment like “Fuck me” or some other lewd attempt to seduce me,” Miriam scowled. Midnight made a face like she abruptly remembered something. She then shrugged at her and gathered up some of the angel’s misplaced feathers before tossing them in the air.

She repeated this process a few times. Miriam’s golden eyes watched her aimlessly play in her feathers. The silence between them was building. A siren wailed outside from some distant emergency vehicle and the old AC kicked on with shake. The apartment itself seemed to be waiting in anticipation.

“Okay,” Midnight said, her hand picking a single feather up. “I think you have told me before. I’m no good, I know that much. I don’t think you could’ve picked a worse person to mate forever with or whatever. I’m a criminal, a mess, a stripper, and I blow a lot of my money on dumb shit instead of doing anything I should be doing. If you want to be my girlfriend so bad, I can give it a shot if it doesn’t hurt you angelic morality or whatever.”

Miriam grabbed one of her lost feathers and wiggled it at Midnight in disapproval. The rabbit woman made to duel her with the discarded feathers. The angel giggled. “I do not agree with everything you said, and I too feel as though there are a great many feelings swirling inside of me, but I know I will feel even worse if I lose you. Morally speaking I must be with you, I think. Perhaps that is merely my loins speaking for me. But I am already your friend who is a girl. This vaunted titled of girlfriend shan't be hard to maintain.”

“Did you say shan’t? What a nerd,” Midnight smirked. She tossed the feather at Miriam before collapsing against her. The warrior caught her with ease. Big floppy ears tickled Miriam as she held her new girlfriend. “Maybe its not your cooch, maybe its your heart you know? Fuck morality or whatever. Just do what you wanna do. Do what your heart says.”

Miriam found those words to be offensive but held her anyways. Whatever rebuttal she could think of did not feel right. All she managed was a, “Mayhaps.” The pair laid in the bed like that for a while.

The groan of the AC filled the silence. Their little apartment was satisfied, its occupants no longer at war. Uncertainty still swam in their hearts. New challenges would now be on the horizon for both of them. A petty thief who was utterly unable to maintain a relationship of almost any kind pitted against an angelic warrior of the heavens who was thoroughly steeped in the beliefs of her people. Still, it was always easier to face challenges together.

Together they had already accomplished much. The exorcism of ghosts, the defeat of monstrous worms, the destruction of a supernatural serial killer, countless rescues of normal people from various supernatural forces, and the friendship of their fellow hunters. Blake, Helen, and Hardy would all hear of this in time. Perhaps they could help too.

For right now, Miriam was content to lay her with the woman she loved. That much she knew was true.

“Hey.” Midnight broke the silence. “Do you think the gas station on the corner still has those fried chicken baskets this late at night? I’m fucking hungry.”

“Language,” Miriam scolded. “Mayhaps. We can check.”

“Will you fly us there?”

“My abilities should not be used for such simple tasks as gas station chicken.”

“Well, I’m your girlfriend now so don’t I get like special girlfriend privileges?”

Miriam paused. Was that a thing? Hm. Perhaps she needed to learn more about her sacred girlfriend duties.

“Fine. I shall fly us after we dress. But when we arrive I request one of those iced creams,” Miriam compromised.

“Fuck yeah!” Midnight leaned up and kissed her girlfriend on the check.
