You just had to make it hurt so much more than it needed to, because you’re just so convinced that you don’t deserve good things.”
Izuku gasps for breath, and Katsuki turns away from him briefly, hands in his hair as if trying to calm himself, before he whirls back around, yelling in Izuku’s face.
“Well, you succeeded!” He bursts. “You hurt yourself, and me in the process! And now Ochako too, because you couldn’t take what you fucking wanted.” A sob escapes him, and Izuku watches in horror as Katsuki begins to fully cry.
(Kacchan and Izuku are a perfect circle, an endless cycle of wanting and refusing to reach out and missing one another.)
