Work Text:
Levi sat at his desk fully immersed in piles of boring paperwork which were starting to tire him out. He had been at it for hours without having a single break. He needed at least something to drink. “Eren, be a good boy and go make me some tea, please.” He called out to Eren, who was sitting on his bed, waiting patiently for his boyfriend to be done with his work.
“Sure thing, I’ll be back in a second!” After accepting his Captain’s request, Eren hurried over to the kitchen downstairs to prepare the tea, always happy to help.
In Eren’s opinion, each and every cup of tea made for his Captain should be prepared with love and care, because Levi deserved no less than that.
He found his best friend Armin in the kitchen, peeling the vegetables for today's dinner. “Hi Eren, dinner will be ready in an hour, could you tell that to the rest of the squad when you find them?” He asked.
“Got it.”
“Are you here to help?”
“Sorry but not now. Levi is waiting for me to bring him tea.” Eren responded proudly.
Eren started with finding a tea kettle, pouring water into it and turning on the stove. He placed the kettle onto the stove and sat down waiting for the water to boil. Once he saw it steaming he took it off the stove and poured the water into a cup.
He opened a cupboard searching for the tea leaves, only to find out that the glass jar where the tea leaves were usually kept was empty. He knew Levi preferred his tea that way, but since there weren’t any tea leaves left, he went for the second option, but the container with teabags was also empty. Eren was getting frustrated. Where did it all go? No one else in this building drank tea with as much enthusiasm as Levi did. That’s why today Eren couldn’t allow him to be left without it.
But what could he possibly do to fix this situation?
He needed to improvise. That was the only choice left. He started devising a creative plan in his mind. It could work out, he thought. He couldn’t have an audience watching in the room while working on his plan though.
“I’m gonna need some privacy here.” Eren declared and started pushing the blonde out of the kitchen.
“But Eren I wasn’t done-” Armin insisted only to have the door slammed in his face. Eren wedged a chair under the door handle to keep anyone from entering his vulnerable moment.
Eren almost couldn’t believe what he was doing as he started unbuttoning his uniform pants and lowering them down his legs. He removed his underwear next, freeing his balls.
He reached for the tea cup filled with hot water and dipped his balls in. He scrunched his face in discomfort because really, it burned, but it wasn’t unbearably painful. It helped a lot that he was a titan shifter, which meant this wouldn’t cause any permanent damage to his balls.
He let them soak in the water like a teabag, in order to extract all the flavour into his makeshift tea.
It also worked in his favour that Eren’s balls had been trapped in the confinements of his pants for the whole day and were now extra sweaty. Slowly, the water started to gain a pale yellow colour. It looked about ready now. He was quite happy with the result.
He dried his balls off absentmindedly with a kitchen towel, before realizing it wasn’t the greatest idea considering the towel was used by everyone in the kitchen. He reasoned it was time for it to be washed anyway, so he would throw it in the laundry on his way back.
He pulled his underwear and pants back up and was about to head up to Levi’s room with the tea cup in hand.
Just then someone started knocking on the door. “Eren! We know you’re in there, get out and let Armin finish cooking!” It was Jean’s voice.
Luckily he had nothing to hide anymore so he yanked the chair out of the way and pushed the door open. He was met with Armin and Jean standing in front of him.
“What did you do that was so important you needed to lock everyone out!?” Jean started to interrogate.
“I was simply making tea for Captain Levi, you know he's picky about his teas, so it must come out perfect!” Eren stated, feigning innocence.
“Right, that still doesn’t explain why you locked yourself in the kitchen.” Jean continued to question him whereas Armin didn’t even seem upset because it wasn’t that serious. Jean just enjoyed pestering Eren about everything.
“Look horse-face, I don’t have time for this so I must go now or the tea will get cold.” Eren rushed past the two soldiers and marched down the hallway toward the staircase. Levi must have been wondering what was taking him so long.
When Eren reached Levi’s door, suddenly he started feeling nervous about this because Levi would definitely notice there was something wrong with his tea and scold him for it. On the other hand Levi loved Eren too much so he might let it slide.
He gathered his courage and entered the room where he found Levi in the same spot waiting for him. Levi looked up from the paperwork as he heard Eren entering and closing the door behind him. “There you are, finally.” He gestured for Eren to place the teacup on the desk in front of him. Eren did as he was instructed.
“Thank you.” He ruffled Eren’s hair as a sign of gratitude.
Levi took a sip of the liquid and let the taste settle in. He sat there and seemed to be contemplating something in his mind. He continued drinking it while Eren stood by him and peered at him for any reaction.
Soon enough Levi started asking questions.“Is this some new brand of tea? I don’t think I’ve had this before.” He sounded genuinely curious.
“Yeah uh, I heard it’s a rare blend.” Eren answered politely, confused at how Levi was finding the tea to his liking.
“Oh really? Well it has already gained my approval.” Levi said casually.
It didn’t take long before the tea cup was empty. He really gulped it all down without any complaints. “Thanks again. I feel really refreshed. You may take it back now.”
Okay. What? There was no way that Levi could have mistaken that for tea. Why didn’t he notice anything strange about it? He just drank it all as if it was normal tea. Not only that but he seemed to really enjoy it. These were the thoughts in Eren’s head on his way downstairs as he carried the used tea cup back to the kitchen.
The rest of the day went on as usual, no questions asked. At the end of the day, the couple settled into bed together as a part of their daily routine.
Right before Eren was about to fall asleep, Levi wrapped his arms around the boy in a tight grip as he whispered a confession into his ear. “Eren, I’m not an idiot, of course I knew what was in that ‘tea’, as you call it.”
“You… you did?” Eren gulped. There was no saving him now. Levi’s tight hold on him prevented him from escaping.
“Did you really think I wouldn’t recognize the taste of your sweaty ballsack? Your own boyfriend? I know you better than anyone else.” He huffed.
“Please don’t be mad at me! Please don’t feed me to the titans, I promise I’ll behave from now on!!” Eren started begging and crying for mercy.
“Mad at you? Why would I be?” Levi raised an eyebrow.
“B-because I made you drink that…I’m sorry.” Eren buried his face into a pillow in shame.
“Don’t be sorry, I wouldn’t have drank it if I didn’t like it.” Levi assured him. “Now go to sleep, you mischievous brat!”
Happily they fell asleep together with the lingering taste of the tea still on Levi’s tongue.
