Chapter 1: Jesus Christ

Chapter Text

Sometimes heaven got boring, and that's when Jesus would wander.

Hell was just a more interesting place in his opinion. More sights to see, things to hear. Most weren't pleasant, but it was different than the monotony of heaven.

Anyway, while Jesus was gazing at the fields of tortured souls, Lucifer approached him. Despite their past differences, the two were on better terms and could actually interact with one another without fighting and getting Dad involved. He stood beside Jesus and pondered him curiously.

"I thought you'd get bored of coming here," He said, gesturing to the fields. "Not much changes."

Jesus shrugged, fiddling with the ends of his long, curly hair, "Not much changes up in heaven, either."

Lucifer regarded him, and then broke out in a playful grin. He grabbed Jesus by the arm, and begun dragging him away from his perch.

"I have something to show you! You'll love it, I swear to Father." Lucifer said, grinning madly and picking up the pace.

Jesus sighed, not bothering to struggle. Last time Lucifer dragged him somewhere, he ended up in fish-hell. It was weird, with dozens of fish being tortured for their perceived sins. He didn't even know fish could sin.

They ventured away from the main valley and came accross a dark forest. Lucifer suddenly stopped, causing Jesus to bump into him. They both regarded the forest.

"What's so special about this forest?" Jesus asked. He hoped it wasn't for birds. The ones in heaven wre real assholes, he couldn't imagine what the ones in hell were like. Lucifer laughed.

"It's cat-hell." He said. Jesus blinked.

"Cat-hell?" He asked.

"It's actually called the dark forest."

"How creative." Lucifer shoved him lightly, smiling. Jesus shrugged. He guessed it was better than bird-hell.

"Where are they?" He asked. "The cats, I mean."

"In there, duh." Lucifer pointed at the forest. "They're shy, so you'll have to go in yourself to see them."

Jesus regarded the forest. It was rather foreboding, with tall trees and deeps shadows. It was very different when compared to cat-heaven, StarClan, which was more open with fewer, shorter trees. He sighed, and walked in.
