Summary:

Duckweed decides to take a quick pit stop from his journey to clean up his pet's cage before venturing further.

The pet in question sees his chance at freedom and takes it.

Hello. Sarokophoenix here.
Never thought I'd ever post here on A03, much less a 'Wings of Fire' fancomic. But I got into the series a while ago, and two OCs decided to spawn. They've been cluttering up my head with their antics, so I decided to make it the fandom's problem.

The tw tags don't kick in until towards the end. They're not...too graphic but be mindful. If it helps, I'll just go ahead and let you all know that he lived. The ending doesn't show it, but he does.

Phew. I spent months working on this, so I really hope you guys like this.

On a side but relevant note, this comic is cross posted onto my Tumblr account: Saroko-Still-Draws. There's also profile pics of the characters, and I'm planning on posting more art and side comics of these characters in the future. In the meantime, I'm working on a one-shot sequel to this comic. Sadly, it will not be a comic, but that's how life be sometimes.

Anyway, I'm still new to this site, so I apologize if something went weird.
