Chapter Text

It had been a long day. The battle had been going on for hours. Luckily for them no fatal injuries the medics had managed to save everyone. The Medbay was quite now everyone had goin for recharge even ratchet for once instead of working overtime everyone except one first aid. He sat in the dimly lit Medbay staring at a report of someone's health `we almost lost a patient `he thought to himself unlike others first aid struggled to get over bots deaths he was a medic in training but he always cared for things deeply with was just enough reason why he would take dead bots badges in a way of honoring them.

Hes line of thoughts abruptly ended when he heard the Medbay door open he swiveled round to meet hotspots optics.
“You should be in recharge “ said Hotspot

“ratchet shut down the Medbay for night“. “I have to finish the report spot “ aid answered a little too quickly.

“Come on, you can finish it in the morning, it will still be here you know that, right?“ said Hotspot convincingly.

“It's best to finish it now rather than“ first aid answered arguably.

“Aid, you need sleep, especially after the long day today,“ Hotspot said calmly as he bent down to Aids level which was significantly shorter.

“But spot- aid was not even able to finish his sentence before hotspot had picked him up gently, his head against his neck cables and legs near the waist.

“No buts aid “ hotspot said as he whirled around carrying the little medics to their quarters which he shared with their brothers. “Put me down“ first aid whispered shouted while making a small attempt to wiggle out hotspots grasp with no luck The ark was quite large and their quarters were at least 5 corridors away so by the time they got there aid was already asleep. The Hotspot carefully laid him down on his berth while gently wrapping a blanket round and giving him a good night kiss.he quietly tracked back to his bed falling asleep himself.
