Beomgyu and Kai are best friends, and that's what they are supposed to be. But there's a problem with Beomgyu. She was supposed to see Kai in a platonic way, she wasn't supposed to cross the line, she wasn't supposed to have these feelings. But she failed to stop all these, she crossed the line and fell for Kai.
Well can you Blame her? Kai's so sweet, so kind, so Caring and so hot. It makes Beomgyu want to scream and kick her legs. Even small interactions with her are making Beomgyu have Butterflies in her stomach.
She doesn't know till when she will be able to keep these feelings to herself. The fact that Kai is her best friend doesn't help at all. They're used to being with each other 24/7 and even if Beomgyu wants to ignore her, she can't. Because without talking to Kai even for a day, it feels empty.
Maybe that's why people say you shouldn't fall for your best friend. It's a big risk. If they don't reciprocate your feelings, you will lose both your love and your best friend. It's a big loss. But Beomgyu has already fallen for the trap. She gave into the temptation. The temptation of being Kai's someday.
Kai is just everywhere, all over the place and in Beomgyu's mind. Wherever Beomgyu is, Kai is there too. Whatever memory Beomgyu has, she has it with her. It's so frustrating sometimes, but Kai's one smile and she's gone. She's so gone for that Girl.
And today something similar is happening.
Kai and Beomgyu had decided to meet up in Kai's house to do their Assignments together. Today was a weekend and they needed to submit the assignment in 2 days. College is truly a menace.
Beomgyu was on her way to Huening Kai's house. Soon she was standing in front of Kai's door ringing the doorbell. And the door was opened in no-time by Kai herself.
"Hii Beomie! Come inside!" Kai said in her usual cheerful tone with a smile, which never failed to make Beomgyu's heart go crazy. Someday she will die because of this girl.
Beomgyu entered inside the familiar house, not able to contain a smile because Kai's smile was contagious. She walked towards the living room and sat down on the floor in front of the Table placed there.
Kai's living room looked very cosy. It had two Sofas and a low level Glass table in the middle. Beomgyu sat down on the soft carpeted floor and took out her laptop, notebook and pens. Kai did the same.
"Let's start working then Beomie, do you want some water? It's pretty hot today." Kai asked her.
"Yeah please." Beomgyu replied, focusing on her Laptop screen which was now lit up.
Kai stood up and walked into her Kitchen, getting a glass of water for Beomgyu. She came back and gave Beomgyu the glass, who finished it in one go. Kai giggled and started working on her Assignment. It was quiet between the two but it was comfortable. They were bestfriends so it was comfortable enough being with each other without talking.
But Kai kept getting distracted because of Beomgyu, it was because she saw Beomgyu's hair coming in front of her face every time she leaned down to write down some notes.
That's why, Kai got up from her place and moved towards Beomgyu sitting beside her. Beomgyu sensed Kai's sudden presence and looked up at Kai with raised eyebrows.
"Your hair seems to trouble you Beomie, let me tie it for you." Kai said and without giving Beomgyu any warning, she leaned in.
"Too close too close" that was repeating in Beomgyu's mind as she was thrown off-guard from Kai's sudden action. Beomgyu was sure she was blushing red by now. Kai's face was so close to hers that she could feel Kai's soft breath on her face.
Kai combed his fingers through Beomgyu's short wolf-cut hair and gathered it together, taking off the Hair-tie from her wrists and tying Beomgyu's hair into a messy ponytail. After tying her hair, Kai looked at Beomgyu and he suddenly noticed how close she was to her. Her eyes trailed to Beomgyu's eyes and she saw how Beomgyu was looking at her with wide sparkling eyes.
"Oh fuck not those eyes. Beomgyu please." Kai prayed internally.
But Beomgyu wasn't making it any better, she kept looking at Kai and none of them were breaking the eye-contact. The tension was thick and Kai wanted to Kiss Beomgyu so bad. Her eyes travelled towards Beomgyu's lips which Beomgyu fucking dared to lick. That sent Kai's mind into a haze. God, Beomgyu was impossible.
Kai averted her eyes to Beomgyu's hair again, seeing the front Bangs falling in front of her eyes. Kai leaned more close, like she wasn't close already and tucked Beomgyu's hair behind her ear, tracing Beomgyu's nape, which made her shiver.
Beomgyu was going crazy, the eye-contact, the closeness, Kai's eyes were all too much for her. She might lose her control at this point. And just to make her more crazy, Kai leaned down and brushed her fingers behind Beomgyu's ears, placing a Kiss on her neck, tucking a stray hair-strand behind her ear.
Beomgyu froze in her place, the skin burning where Kai kissed her. She stopped functioning for a second, and Kai was still looking at her with that look. It was so wrong. Beomgyu was going to lose all control if Kai kept doing this.
"K-Kai, w-why did you-" Beomgyu asked, stuttering but she was forced to shut up with Kai crashing her lips on hers.
If Beomgyu's eyes weren't wide before, they for sure were now. Because Kai fucking kissed her lips. It was just a light touch of lips but to Beomgyu, it was crazy. Kai was crazy. Why was she doing this to her heart? At this point she will lose her composure.
"Beomgyu....did I go too far? I'm sorry...but I want to Kiss you so bad right now." Kai spoke still looking at Beomgyu, her eyes staring right at her brown ones. Beomgyu was shocked. Her face burned from heat creeping up her cheeks. Kai wanted to kiss her?
"Do it. Do it Kai." Beomgyu replied impatiently.
And Kai didn't needed to be told twice. She held Beomgyu's nape with one hands and cupped her cheeks with the other and placed her lips on Beomgyu's. Beomgyu kissed back, her hands finding its way to Kai's soft hair, tugging on it. Kai pressed her body onto Beomgyu's making her lean back. Kai was kissing Beomgyu with such proximity that Beomgyu's legs gave up. She's glad they're not standing or else she would have fallen by now.
Kai bit Beomgyu's lower lip, earning a Moan from her and she took the chance to enter her tongue into Beomgyu's sweet cavern, exploring every single part. Beomgyu gave up for dominance and let Kai take the lead. Afterall she was always weak for the Girl. Beomgyu was about to fall on the floor from the pressure but Kai, oh so sweet Kai held her Waist and pulled her towards her, their chests now having no space between them.
Beomgyu's mind was in a haze, it was all mushy, all she had in her mind was Kai Kai Kai. She never wanted to stop, but sadly she needed oxygen so they had to part away.
She looked at Kai to see her lips all shiny from kissing. She was breathless, her face flushed just like her own. She could taste Kai's strawberry Lip balm on her tongue. Kai smiled at Beomgyu and removed a single hair falling on her eyes.
"It was good, right Beomie?" Kai asked, smiling.
"Yeah...it was." Beomgyu replied, connecting their foreheads.
Both of them closed their eyes and said
"I like you Hyuka"
"I like you Beomie"
At the same time.
They opened their eyes on this and erupted into a fit of laughter. They were Indeed bestfriends. Best Friends who were in love with each other.
