Summary:

Stede Bonnet, corporate shill, divorced dad, closeted gay man, is celebrating his 40th birthday with friends at his flat in New York. But an unfortunate incident leads Stede down a rabbit hole of odd occurrences, and to discover new things. About himself, about his life, and about the handsome stranger from two floors down who he has desperately wanted to get to know better.

Notes:

CWs for graphic depictions of violence and murder, discussions of blood and injuries, suicidal ideation, homophobia, childhood trauma, sexual assault (brief and not graphic in any way, it is an unwanted kiss one time in the story).

Also, if you have not see the show 'Russian Doll', be aware there are repeated major character deaths but they are NOT permanent! This is a time loop fic, but the character dies to restart the timeline. Do not panic, I promise no major characters will die permanently!

 

This is not beta read, and I frequently post while laying on the floor of my toddlers' room waiting for her to go to sleep, so please excuse typos, bizarre flights of fancy, and any other strangeness. I am also playing fast and loose with keeping track of the details in each time loop so if you see an inconsistency, no you didn't. :)
