It is no secret that the Qing Jing Peak succeeding disciple and the Bai Zhan Peak succeeding disciple are like ice and fire.
Every few days the poor fellows in An Ding Peak will be summon to fix anything that has been destroyed by the two short temper succeeding disciples and their infamous fights.
Having witness so many fights and arguments between the two, it was only normal to conclude that the two hated each other and if given the chance, they would throw the other down a cliff.
So what was this that all the peak lords/ladies and their succeeding disciples are witnessing?
Liu Qingge's face was flushed red.
While Shen Qingqiu is glaring at the said flushed red succeeding disciple of Bai Zhan Peak.
"Zhao Anqing!" Shen Anwei, the peak lord of Qing Jing peak shouts from the top of his lungs.
"Calm down, Shixiong." Zhao Anqing, the peak lord of Bai Zhan knows for sure that he is now in deep trouble due his stupid disciple.
What happend?
Well let's take it back to 20 minutes ago.

There was a meeting between the peak lords/ladies and their succeeding disciples.
A month from now the peak lords/ladies will be ascending and the succeeding disciples will officially become the new peak lords and lady.
As everyone was gathering together and taking their respective seats, the clumsy An Ding Peak succeeding disciple, Shang Qinghua came rushing into the meeting room after his return from a mission.
Shang Qinghua didn't even think about returning to his peak first to stuff away the artifact that he had found during his mission.
As soon as everyone had gathered, Shang Qinghua trips and sends the artifact in his hand tumbling towards Liu Qingge's feet.
The artifact know as Heart Reflection starts glowing.
"What is that!?" Zhou Anqing shouts as he sees that his succeeding may be in danger (seeing as to how there is a glowing, unknown artifact right at his feet).
Shang Qinghua chuckles nervously.
"Ah! It's not anything dangerous. It is known as Heart Reflection. It's an artifact used to show one's deepest desire. It was often used to determine if someone had dark desires in the courts."
"Sounds like fun." Qi Qingqi, the succeeding disciple of Xian Shu and the only woman to become peak lady in the Qing generation comments.
The cube continues to glow and glow until there is a sudden bust of light.
Everyone in the room freezes as moving images begin to play out in front of them.
"Oh! Looks like the artifact works. Right now it is showing Liu-shidi's deepest desire." Shang Qinghua tells everyone.
"The brute actually has something he wants besides always fighting?" Shen Qingqiu comments snidely.
Liu Qingge glares at Shen Qingqiu.
"Better than showing your deepest desire! I bet it will just show something disgusting!"
"Shouldn't we stop it?" Shen Anwei comment, knowing that this is an invasion of privacy.
Whatever Liu Qingge's deepest desire maybe, the poor guy deserves to keep his desires to himself.
"Once the images start there is no way to stop it. We just have to wait it out. Once the artifact is done showing Liu shidi's deepest desire, everything will be fine." Shang Qinghua explains.
Without another choice, everyone decides to turn towards the moving images and watch it play out.
The images shows the town in celebration.
There is decorations everywhere and everyone seems to be in a festive mode.
"What is this? Is Lui Qingge's deepest desire to let off some steam by attending some kind of festival?" Zhou Anqing asks his succeeding disciple.
Liu Qingge doesn't know.
He doesn't even know what his deepest desire is!
The image shifts and the back of someone dressed in red wedding robes is shown.
"What?" Everyone gasps.
Why would Liu Qingge's deepest desire show someone dressed in wedding robes.
"Isn't this Qing Jing peak?" Shen Anwei comments.
Just as Shen Anwei makes that comment, the person dressed in the red wedding robe turns around.
"Me?!"
"Shen Qingqiu!"
"Shen Jiu!"
"Xiao Jiu!"
Everyone shouts.
"What??? What is this?" Shen Qingqiu is flabbergasted.
Why would Shen Qingqiu be dressed in wedding robes in Liu Qingge's deepest desire?
"Don't tell me..." Shen Anwei starts, but soon he is sending glares to Liu Qingge.
It begins to click in everyone's minds.
Liu Qingge's deepest desire is to be married to Shen Qingqiu.
Which brings us to the present.
"Zhao Anqing!" Shen Anwei, the peak lord of Qing Jing peak shouts from the top of his lungs.
"Calm down, Shixiong." Zhao Anqing, the peak lord of Bai Zhan knows for sure that he is now in deep trouble due his stupid disciple.
"Calm down? How can I calm down? We just found out that your brute of a disciple is desiring my A'jiu!" Shen Anwei is leaving no room for arguments.
"Come on. It's fine. It's young love." Zhou Anqing tries to assure Shen Anwei.
"No! No! No! We are no longer ascending." Shen Anwei stubbornly comments.
"What!? No! We have to." The other peak lords and ladies are baffle.
"Oh my gosh! It all makes sense now!" Qi Qingqi suddenly shouts.
Everyone turns to her.
"What makes sense?" Yue Qingyuan asks.
"The reason why Liu Qingge is always seeking out Shen Qingqiu. It is because Liu Qingge has a crush in Shen Qingqiu and does not know how to express it. The only way that Liu Qingge knows how to get Shen Qingqiu's attention is by fighting and arguing." Qi Qingqi explains.
By this point, Liu Qingge has tuned into a tomato.
Him? Desire Shen Qingqiu?
No Way!
Not a chance!
Shen Qingqiu stares at Liu Qingge.
"Y...y..you like... me?" He asks cautiously (maybe nervously).
Without answering, Liu Qingge dashes out the meeting room, breaking the door as he did so.
"Oh my, he is so shy." The peak lady of Xian Shu comments.
Now, Shen Anwei is glad that they let the artifact play out since it allowed him to know that he needs to protect Shen Qingqiu.
Liu Qingge is left questioning if he truly likes... no... love Shen Qingqiu.
Shen Qingqiu is not sure what to make of everything.
Of course, there was no way that this shocking incident would be kept hush hush.
In matter of days, it was spread that Liu Qingge love Shen Qingqiu and wanted to marry the cold, but beautiful Qing Jing peak scholar.
And so, the story of the Brute who is courting the Scholar began to spread.
