Chapter Text
Beth was hot! Not a comfortable hot but a sauna type hot, the kind of hot that makes sweat bead on your nose and it was pulling her grumpily out of a very nice sleep.
As she slowly becomes more aware of her surroundings a few realisations hit her at once. She’d been having a really good sleep, her back was on fire, there were steady plumes of breath tickling the back of her neck and a hand was gently cupping her breast under her T-Shirt.
The last thought snapped her fully awake because there should not be another person’s hand in her bed let alone on her breast. As she got her bearings, she shifted slightly, which caused a murmur from the person behind her and the hand on her breast to squeeze, instinctively her hand came up to cover the one under her T-shirt trying to still it.
Her breath caught as she was now awake enough to realise who the owner of the hand was, the person who was clamped against her back and had the curve of her hips along her arse, the person whose breath was brushing against her neck along with the barest hint of soft lips. Embarrassingly, a twinge between her legs accompanied the realisation and beckoned for attention but she dare not move even to clamp her thighs together to give a moment of relief.
Holy Fuck!! If she felt hot before, now she was an inferno, and she couldn’t keep herself from clamping her thighs together any longer. As she did the hand shifted again, a thumb clumsily swiping other her now erect nipple. Oh My God! This was not helping! Her mind scrambled to think of how to get out of this situation with as little embarrassment as possible.
She was too busy panicking that she failed to notice the breathing change against her neck or the sharp intake of breath that followed. However, the next movement of the hand was decidedly more deliberate than the previous sleepy clumsy motions. Clueing her in that now she wasn’t the only one awake and any hope of extracting herself from any embarrassment was gone.
It was a strange moment of calm that followed, both people aware that a barrier had been crossed innocently in their sleep and the lull of just being present seemed to stretch into a chasm. They were on the cusp of something, a precipice, a knife edge, a coin to be flipped. Taking the plunge and with a slight breath in, Beth whispered “Viv, are you awake?”
As she uttered those words, she thought, this is not how she imagined her night would go. Thinking back, it had all started innocently enough.
