Peter had no idea how he had gotten himself into this situation, nor what he had done to piss off any higher being for this to be his punishment. But there he was, sitting in math class with Daredevil staring at him through the window.
Just a few minutes prior, he had heard the telltale sound of someone walking on the school roof- which, by all means, was not rare. He knew other students found a way up there to cut classes or do other unsavory things.
So this really wouldn’t be a problem if he didn’t recognize the slow steady heartbeat of Matt fucking Murdock.
And sure enough, as he reached the window, he poked the top half of his masked face into view. Luckily, no one else seemed to notice the masked vigilante other than Peter, but he could still hear his own heart racing as he made eye contact with Matt, who fucking waved at him.
All in all, Peter was not having a great day.
His frustration grew tenfold when he heard Deadpool start skipping across the roof to meet Matt in his place by the window.
“Peter, I know you don’t enjoy geometry, but I doubt the window is any more exciting than this lesson.” His teacher deadpanned, catching his attention. Matt and Wade ducked away as the lesson continued after a few snickers and side comments from the class.
As the teacher droned on about shapes and whatnot, Wade and Matt poked their heads in once again when the coast seemed to be clear. This time, Wade wasted no time flashing crude hand gestures to Peter who would probably be laughing if he wasn’t so pissed. He didn’t get far before Matt hit him upside the head, causing the man to fall from his spot onto the ground below.
Peter wasn’t worried much. Despite being on the second floor of the school, Wade’s healing factor would start working immediately. However, the merc’s surprised yelp and the awful sound of him hitting the pavement below did catch the attention of the class. As chatter broke out among the students, the teacher excused herself before walking out of the class.
Matt climbed back onto the roof and out of view with a chuckle. It didn’t take long for the teacher to come back, excusing the noise as an animal that fell.
God, Peter was tired

“You guys came to my school?” Peter asked exasperatedly as he met the other two members of Team Red at the beginning of their patrol route.
“Aw, c’mon Spidey. It wasn't that bad, was it?” Wade asked as he continued scribbling on a napkin he had found god knows where
“I mean, at least we spared you a few minutes of class time.” Matt butt in, once again making a good point.”
“I- you guys can't just do that. You can’t- look. If you guys keep just- showing up, people might get suspicious. Especially in costume.” Peter rambled angrily, to which Matt and Wade stopped in their tracks and turned to face each other, then Peter.
“Alright, spidey.” Matt said, careful not to use Peter’s real name out in public. “We won’t show up at your school anymore.”
“ Thank you. ” Peter sighed before swinging away, missing the way Matt and Wade looked at each other one last time.

“You have a plan, don’t you?” Wade asked as he poked Matt’s side in the early hours of the morning. Peter had finished his patrol a while ago in hopes of getting some sleep before going to school in the morning. “Ooh, Matty, do tell.”
Swatting at Wade’s hand, Matt adopted a mischievous grin. “What are you talking about, Deadpool ?” he asked, putting emphasis on the other’s alias. “He specifically asked you and I, Deadpool and Daredevil, not to go to his school.”
Wade was quick to catch on. “But he didn’t say anything about Matt and Wade!” he finished. “Holy shit, Double D, you’re a genius!”
“Of course,” Matt said as he walked towards the edge of the building they were on. “Someone has to be the smart one, and you and Spidey sure as hell don’t qualify for the role.”
“Hey-”

Peter was beyond exhausted. He was in gym class, easily one of his least favorites. Before the spider bite, he had been the perfect target for Flash during the forty-five minute window. Peter was small and scrawny as hell, something the other boy seemed to take personal offense to. Even after the spider bite, he didn’t enjoy the class. Flash still picked on him and there was nothing he could do without blowing his cover.
And now, being the new kid a couple months in, it was no better.
Peter always opted to walk instead of participating in whatever sports were being played. And now that the weather was picking up, the class was able to go outside to the track and football field.
Not many people besides Peter opted to walk, but that didn’t stop people from trying the mess with him. Whether it be bad passes with the basketball or too hard of a swing with a pickleball paddle, he always walked away with some sort of bruise.
But as Peter heard the principal walking his way with a familiar heartbeat in tow, he wasn’t sure if this day was getting better or so much worse.
“Mr. Parker.” The principle shouted, and Peter could see Matt wince beside him at the sheer volume. He had everyone’s attention now. “Your boss is here to see you.”
Peter stumbled across the track and over to where Matt was standing, ignoring all of the eyes on him. The principal walked back towards the entrance to the school, telling them to follow him once they were done talking.
“Matt. What the fuck .” Peter said exasperatedly. “I- how the hell did you- actually, scratch that. I told you not to come to my school.”
Matt hummed and looked up to the class for a second before turning back to Peter. “You told Deadpool and Daredevil not to come to your school. Not Matt and Wade. I’m your emergency contact now, along with Wade.”
Peter just gaped at him before he turned his attention to his classmates. They were whispering about the two of them just loud enough that they could hear. Well, loud enough that Peter could hear. Matt could probably hear them if he was back at the office. Then, Peter watched Carson, someone Peter would bet gave Flash a run for his money, get a nasty grin on his face before picking up a football and hurling it towards them.
Peter stuck his hand out, ready to at least deflect it, before Matt snatched it from the air with ease. He dropped it to the ground and kicked it out of the way as he turned to face the class.
“Matt, you're gonna blow your cover!” Peter hissed under his breath as Matt once again turned to face him.
“Don’t worry about it. We need you back at the office. Wade managed to get his hand stuck in the printer.” Matt said with a dismissive wave before he started walking back to where the principal stood a few feet away.
“He what?” Peter asked, eyes wide. “Why can’t you guys take care of it? I have school.”
“Because I do not feel like dealing with Wade alone at eight in the morning on a Monday, not to mention he somewhat cools it with ninety percent of his jokes when you’re around.”
“Fair enough.”
