Chapter Text
So, if he recalls, here’s how the conversation went.
“Tubboooo!!!” Tommy shouted on the top of his lungs. “Come to the living room please?”
Then he hears super-fast footsteps running along. Tubbo is there for Tommy all the time, and Tommy accepts that it’s because their friendship bond was really strong and that the feeling was mutual.
But maybe not. And hey, he knows that he should probably not think about it but he can’t help it.
“I HAVE COMED.” Tubbo huffs and puffs, one hand on his knee while the other holding the wall.
“Comed- I don’t think that’s a word. Is it? Also. I want to talk to you about something.” Tommy puts on this – he thinks it’s ridiculous – ‘serious face’ look, but it always works when it has to.
And Tubbo didn’t say anything else. He sat down in front of Tommy.
“So, Tubs, how do you feel about Toby Simons?” He puts on a grin that was supposed to be gremlin-y but it just looks like nervousness in Tubbo’s opinion.
And so Tubbo tears up, happy tears of course, and his hands were covering his mouth in surprise.
“YOU’RE PROPOSING TO ME?!” He smiled, his grin could reach both his ears at that moment.
“Yes! Wait no-“
“No?” Tubbo’s shoulders dropped. And he was tearing up even more. And for some reason, Tommy can’t say no to that. He couldn’t stand seeing his best friend sad and he doesn’t know why. Their bonds are just too strong.
“No! No, yes, I’m- I’m proposing?” He hesitated while smiling. “To you!”
And then he got a hug, and then Tubbo keeps asking Tommy to hit him and tell him it's all real. He did and Tubbo was all ‘oh this is wife abuse, I’m calling the cops’. And hearing Tubbo mention and brag about being Tommy’s wife felt good.
But- It’s all platonic, right??
