Gakushuu and Karma had run towards the showers, wanting to be the first ones there and the first ones finished.
Being a dirty little cheater, Karma stuck his foot out and tripped Gakushuu. Being someone who isn't above cheating, either, Gakushuu grabbed onto Karma's ankle and brought him down with him.
The virtuosos and the rest of their class's boys just watched the class president and the class delinquent fight it out. It was kind of nice seeing their stuck up ice prince of a leader just fall to the ground and punch their annoying classmate.
Still, the two of them managed to be the first ones in the shower. How they were able to get there first even though they had a beat up session earlier is a question nobody but the two of them could answer.
When they came out of the showers and into the locker room, they both had some bruises on them. Gakushuu glared at the red head. Karma just grinned. Being the first ones to finish meant they were the first ones in the shower room as well, it was just the two of them.
"Does it hurt?" Karma leaned into Gakushuu's space, taunting him. "I hope it does."
Gakushuu shoved him away, wincing a little. Yeah, it did hurt. But he knew Karma was hurt as well, so it's all worth it. "Shut it, Akabane."
Karma laughed, "Aw, if it helps you feel any better, your punch hurt like hell too."
Gakushuu smiled, he was taking his martial arts lessons much more seriously now. So it's nice to hear he was actually able to do some damage. "Oh, that helps immensely, actually. Thank you."
Karma shook his head, a smile on his face. "Hey, I'm sorry for losing the match earlier. I knew how much you wanted to win."
They were playing baseball earlier. The two of them were on the same team. Being around Gakushuu just makes Karma want to be annoying and attention grabbing. It cost them the game, sadly.
Gakushuu squinted at the red head, the sudden sincerity surprised him. "It was my failure as a leader. I will do my best to control you next time."
"Really? You're not backing down here as well?"
"Like I'd let you top me at something."
Karma laughed, "Okay! Lets hug it out then! We're both sorry aren't we?"
"I'm not hugging you, we're both in towels."
Karma looked down at their bodies. Right, they were only wearing towels. "Like that's a problem! We're friends aren't we! Wow!! Friendship hug!" Karma opened his arms, enjoying Gakushuu's half embarrassed half irritated face.
"Akabane, fuck off." Gakushuu said, walking backwards. Karma only took a step towards him, arms still out for a hug.
"Akabane." Gakushuu worriedly looked behind him, nearing a wall.
"Akabane— Karma. Stop it, I will not hesitate to punch you again."
"Do you really want to fight me in the state we're both in?" Karma tilted his head. He came in for a hug. Gakushuu stiffened.
"See? It isnt that bad. Pat pat." Karma pet the strawberry blonde's hair gently.
"I am incredibly uncomfortable."
Karma laughed, "As you should! I thrive off it."
Seo blinked, confused as why the two of them were hugging half naked in the locker room. He just finished his shower.
"Are you two done? Or should I leave?" He called out casually.
Gakushuu turned red and pushed Karma away. "You got your sorry hug, now get dressed!"
Karma mocked salute, "Yes, sir."

"So why were you two hugging in the locker rooms." Seo brought up again, walking towards the school gates with the virtuosos. Gakushuu's face flushed.
"He forced himself onto me."
"Isn't that..?" Ren's eyes were wide, concerned. Gakushuu shook his head at him, "No, not like that."
"Apology hug."
"Apology hug?"
"For annoying the hell out of me in the game. It was not a good hug." Gakushuu shuddered.
Ren laughed, "Well, yeah. There's really only one scenario where two people can hug while naked and like it."
Gakushuu punched him lightly on the shoulder.

Gakushuu sat on the toilet, its seat down. He was in Karma's bathroom, both of them had just finished taking a bath together. A towel around his waist and one on his head, he sighed.
Karma looked at him through the sink mirror, he put his toothbrush down. "What's wrong?"
Gakushuu shook his head, "It's been a long time since I was with another person like this."
"Half naked in a bathroom?"
"No, you idiot. Im having a moment."
Karma let out an "oh" and stayed quiet, letting the strawberry blonde continue. He picked up his toothbrush again.
"I haven't been with another person in a long time. I think I made it hard for people to be close to me," He chuckled. "I think the only reason I even came to look at you was because you forced your way into my sights."
Karma hummed happily, he did try his best to be annoying. Annoying to Gakushuu.
"A lot of people thought I was untouchable. Like an idol, you know? You don't befriend an idol. You look up to them, and they use you. Pretend to be happy with you, but really you're just another profit to them.
You didn't think of me as an idol, nor was I untouchable to you." Gakushuu smiled softly, "You saw me as a challenge and wanted to put me in my place."
Karma finished brushing his teeth and put his brush in its holder. He went over to hug Gakushuu, he hugged back, wrapping his arms around Karma's waist. The physical touch made him burn up, oh how touch starved he was. Tears welled up in his eyes.
"My place is still at the top though." The strawberry blonde said with a shaky voice and a smile, tears falling down his face.
"You bitch, we're having a moment right now."
"You're saying that?" Gakushuu laughed.
Karma only hugged him tighter.
"Did you only give me a shot because I was the only other person you could see?" He asked quietly, fingers tangled in Gakushuu's hair.
"I could've gotten anybody I wanted. I chose you because you're you." Gakushuu reassured.
Karma let out a breath, "I love you."
Gakushuu's face turned pink, "You too."
"Oh, come on." Karma rolled his eyes with a smile, squeezing the strawberry blonde. "Say it."
"I am in love with you also!"
Karma nuzzled against Gakushuu, "God damn it! Say it normally!"
"Take it or leave it!" Gakushuu laughed, patting Karma's arms. They let go of the hug. Gakushuu still had to brush his teeth.

"You know," Gakushuu piped up, sitting cross-legged on Karma's bed.
"Ren said there's only one scenario where two people can hug half naked and enjoy it."
"Are you implying something, Second place?"
Gakushuu threw a pillow at the red head, "No. You bastard. I meant I enjoyed our little moment earlier."
Karma laughed, he sat down on his desk chair. "I did too."
They both went quiet, only the sound of the outside world could be heard through Karma's partly opened window. Gakushuu closed his eyes, suddenly tired. He flopped onto Karma's bed, his whole body relaxing.
Karma's bed was soft and everything was so warm and comforting. Breathing in, he could smell the red head's scent on the sheets. He felt warm. He hasn't felt warm in a while.
Okay, maybe he felt a little bit too warm.
"Yeah, no. I was implying something." Gakushuu opened his eyes and turned to face Karma. The red head had already been staring at him. "Get on top of me."
Karma let out a nervous laugh, but went over towards his bed anyways. "Oh? You're letting me top you at something?"
Gakushuu dragged Karma down into a kiss.
"This is the only exception."
