Work Text:
Soobin had always been intrigued by the mystery boy. Some of his friends called it a crush, but he wouldn’t refer to it as that, he barely knew the guy after all.
The second semester had just started, which meant reintroductions in all of his courses as if they were some high school students attending their first day. However, there was an unfamiliar face in the back of the class and Soobin eagerly awaited his introduction. Soobin watched the boy twist his lip ring with his tongue from his peripheral vision. A pair of shiny earrings dangled from his ears and peeked through his long black hair. The boy stood when it was his turn, eyes scanning the room and landing on Soobin, smirking lightly. Soobin’s heart hammered in his chest.
“My name is Choi Yeonjun,” Yeonjun bowed slightly, keeping eye contact.
Soobin hadn’t been able to discover anything about the boy other than what he'd heard from rumours.
“Don’t even try to talk to him,” His friend Huening Kai warned, “I heard that Beomgyu guy is the only person he talks to. He thinks he’s better than everyone else because he’s an actor.”
His other friend, Taehyun, had nodded along in agreement.
Soobin had more important things to fret over anyway, like his impending doom in the form of a haunted house. He would happily sit out of that one if he wasn’t worried about disappointing his friends who seemed more than excited for the scare.
“I’ve heard there’s actors in here that’ll grab you and yank you around and stuff,” Huening Kai beamed while waiting in line.
“That’s not completely true,” Taehyun tried to soothe Soobin’s shaking form, “They can’t touch you unless you give them permission to.”
The image of one of his friends being yanked about by some random person in badly done sfx makeup still sent a shiver down his spine. His nerves soon turned to nausea as they approached the entrance, the woman at the ticket booth asking which type of pass they’d like. Taehyun and Kai adorned orange bracelets while Soobin had the green one.
The first scare was mundane, they walked through a room decorated like an empty children's bedroom. Someone jumped from the closet as they passed by, shaking Taehyun by his shoulders. Kai laughed at Taehyun’s shrill shriek, Taehyun joining in after. Soobin couldn’t manage to even crack a smile, the fear of what was to come crawling into his core leaving him dizzy.
By the third scare, Soobin had his face buried in Taehyun’s back with his eyes screwed shut. His knuckles were white from how tightly he held the younger’s shirt balled in his hands.
“Bin, you doing okay?” Taehyun whispered.
Soobin looked up from his hiding place. His bottom lip trembled as he tried to speak.
“Are you having an anxiety attack?”
Soobin couldn’t answer. He couldn’t feel any part of his own body except for the slight tremble that shot through his veins every few seconds. Three knocks echoed through the hallway. The pair were too caught up to hear it, but Huening Kai bounced on his heels in excitement, anticipating the next scare. A door behind them creaked open, Taehyun pushing Soobin behind him to block him from the next actor. Unfortunately, it was a distraction so they didn’t see the arm reach from between the bars of the door across from them. Taehyun was grabbed by his jacket, stumbling forward and almost hitting the door in front of him. Soobin flew forward as well, his tight grip refusing to let loose.
The actor laughed maniacally, shaking Taehyun in his hold. He fell silent, leaning forward so that part of his face could be seen in the faint light. He wore messy makeup, two red triangles were painted over his eyes and a grin was painted onto his face. He met eyes with a petrified Soobin. He gave a lopsided grin, reaching out and pointing at him.
“You,” He beckoned him over with his finger, “Come.”
Soobin’s eyes widened. He took a step closer, a tremor shooting through his legs. Taehyun instinctually reached back and put an arm in front of him. Soobin winced, his body visibly shaking when the actor accidentally moved his hand too quickly. His lips quirked downward into a frown for a moment, before he corrected it. A clicking sound could be heard and the door swung open. The boy cocked his head, raising an eyebrow.
“Didn’t I say come, pretty boy?”
Soobin’s entire body froze in place, a slight blush making its way on his cheeks. The clown smiled at him, warm and inviting unlike the first one. He lazily held out a hand and Soobin tentatively placed his own in it. Taehyun quickly grabbed onto Soobin's sleeve, scowling.
“He has the no-touch bracelet.”
The clown turned to look at him, his smile dropping. He leaned closer to Taehyun, looking him up and down in disgust. He suddenly lurched forward, Taehyun flinching and taking a step back. The actor felt Soobin squeeze his hand as he flinched as well. Still making eye contact with Taehyun, the clown laughed. He gently guided Soobin into the room.
“Don’t you worry your little head now,” He pouted, “Go on, move along.”
He slammed the door in Taehyun’s face, leaving Soobin standing all alone with one of those random people in bad sfx makeup that didn’t seem nearly as bad nor fake now that he was up close and personal. The actor turned around to speak to Soobin. His whole demeanor changed.
“Are you okay? Sorry about the whole act, I have to keep it going while interacting with customers,” His lip piercing glinted in the light.
“Yeah, I’m okay,” Soobin stuttered.
His fingers were still tightly intertwined with the actors.
“I just wanted to get you out of there. You looked really uncomfortable and I overheard your friend saying something about a panic attack?”
He wore a loose black muscle tee tucked into a pair of black jeans. A black bandana hung around his neck.
“Yeah, this really isn’t my thing,” Soobin shamefully explained.
A pair of heavy boots covered his feet. His eyes traveled back up to the boy’s face, which wore an amused smile. He clearly noticed Soobin checking him out.
“Well, there’s a door to the back entrance over there,” The boy motioned with his head, “Or you could stay with me if you want? We’re not supposed to let customers back here, but I’ve already broken the rule.”
Soobin felt his face heat up, he was suddenly thankful for the dark atmosphere.
“I have to warn you though, it’ll probably be boring. You’ll just be watching me work.”
“I’m fine with that,” Soobin finally concluded.
He felt drawn to the actor in a weird way. Giggling bounced off the hallway walls and the clown grinned.
“Gotta get back to work.”
Soobin sat with his back pressed to the wall, watching as the actor grabbed at the many passersbys. He obviously enjoyed his job very much, interacting and taunting the customers. After he scared one particular group that took off running, their footsteps pounding through the hallway, he turned to look at Soobin with a triumphant smirk. He caught Soobin’s eyes, nodding his head in a cocky way that had a familiar shock shooting down Soobin’s spine.
‘He thinks he’s better than everyone else because he’s an actor,’ Huening Kai’s words echoed in his head. He wasn’t some stuck-up, snobby wannabe Hollywoodie, he was a scare actor.
Soobin stood abruptly, catching the boy’s - Yeonjun, as he had just realized - attention.
“I’m gonna go outside,” He briefly explained, walking briskly to the exit door.
He let the door slam behind him, walking to the woods behind the building and leaning against the nearest tree. He pulled out his phone to see a missed call from Taehyun. He quickly dialed him back.
“Jesus christ, Soobin. Are you okay? We were worried when you didn’t pick up,” Soobin felt guilty hearing the panic in Taehyun’s voice.
“Yeah, sorry, but you won’t believe this.”
“What?”
“The clown, that’s fucking Choi Yeonjun! Choi fucking Yeonjun broke the rules and pulled me backstage and let me stay with him!”
“Oh my god!” Taehyun squealed, “You’ve had a crush on him forever!”
Soobin groaned, “I know, but that also means he saw me scared shitless in there.”
“Oh yikes,” Huening Kai cut in from the background, “That is not a good look.”
“Thanks,” Soobin rolled his eyes.
The door opened and Yeonjun ventured out, looking around for Soobin. He grinned once he spotted the other, making his way over.
“Yeah listen, I gotta go. Talk to you guys later,” Soobin hung up, cutting off whatever Taehyun was about to say.
“Hey,” Yeonjun breathed out, standing in front of him, “I got a break and wanted to check up on you.”
“Oh,” Soobin blushed, “I’m alright.”
“Okay, I lied,” Yeonjun smiled sheepishly, “I just wanted to talk to you some more.”
Soobin nodded awkwardly, looking off to the side. He didn’t know how to respond, is this considered flirting? He’s sure that Yeonjun recognises him, if he was even right about this being Yeonjun.
“Are you always like this?” Yeonjun questioned, trapping him against the tree by putting both his hands on either side of his head.
“I’d like to think I’m not.”
Yeonjun’s lipstick was messy, curling up into a smile at the edges. If he wasn’t at a haunted house it could be mistaken for the aftermath of a heated makeout session.
“Why do you keep looking at me like that, hm?” Yeonjun teased, letting his hot breath hit Soobin’s ear, “Ever since that first day in class.”
“I-” Honestly, Soobin wasn’t sure how to explain it, “You’re-”
“I’m what? Spit it out, pretty boy.”
Soobin’s knees felt weak.
“It’s okay, I know. I’ve heard it from everyone, ‘Soobin keeps checking you out’, ‘Soobin stares at you in class’, ‘I think Soobin wants to fuck you’, but most of all ‘Poor Soobin, he’s so smitten, but he’s too shy. He’ll never make a move’. Is it true?”
Soobin gulped loudly. He opened his mouth, trying to respond, but no words would come out. Yeonjun was so, so close. His breath smelled sweet, like cherry candy, and Soobin bet he tasted the same.
Yeonjun chuckled darkly, “What? Can’t speak?”
And no, he couldn’t. Not when he was dying to have the boy in front of him. He grabbed the back of Yeonjun’s neck, roughly pressing the boy’s lips against his own. Yeonjun let out a small sound of surprise, holding onto Soobin’s shirt and kissing him back with just as much force.
“Actions speak louder than words, I suppose,” Yeonjun laughed breathily.
His lipstick had already started to smear across Soobin’s mouth. Yeonjun liked the look. He pulled the taller in again. Yeonjun was shocked, but definitely not disappointed, by Soobin’s aggressiveness. From what he had observed, Soobin was reserved and soft-spoken. He kept to his own besides his two friends he could be spotted with between courses and during lunch. He carried himself gently, Yeonjun had noticed that his chair would barely make a sound when he pulled it out or pushed it in. Once he had been instructed to pass out the weekly novel and usually they’d be tossed carelessly onto the desks, but Soobin placed them in the hands of each and every student; nodding slightly, he acknowledged them, his dimples on show. Except for when he got to Yeonjun, he kept his eyes glued to the floor then.
Yeonjun had felt jealousy then, but as Soobin sucked Yeonjun’s lip hard enough to leave it swollen and red, he revelled in the idea that not many - maybe even no one - in that class knew this side of him. Soobin bit down on his lower lip harsh enough to draw blood, Yeonjun instantly getting the hint and parting his lips. Yeonjun let Soobin explore his mouth for a second before getting his revenge and nipping at the end of his tongue. Soobin pulled back in shock, but just chuckled breathlessly.
“Guess I deserved that,” He mumbled, going back in for another, much softer, kiss.
Soobin’s assumption from before was proven true, Yeonjun tasted sickeningly sweet. He sucked on the tip of his tongue, Yeonjun letting out small whimpers. Yeonjun pushed his hips against the tallers, trying to create friction between their lower halves that were becoming increasingly needy for attention. Soobin slipped his knee between the olders thighs, holding his waist so that he rutted against it. Yeonjun’s hips jerked forward on instinct, him pulling away from Soobin’s lips to collect himself. He inhaled deeply, gulping.
“So much for too shy,” His eyelashes fluttered closed, eyebrows pinched together as his lips parted.
Soobin’s head lolled back against the tree. He rubbed his knee against Yeonjun again. The boy whined softly, a pout forming on his lips. One of Soobin’s hands held his jaw, thumb caressing his cheek while the other kept a firm grip on his waist.
“You look so pretty like this.”
Yeonjun opened his eyes, chuckling lightly and shaking his head. He moved Soobin’s leg from between his, grabbing onto the button of Soobin’s jeans.
He looked up through his eyelashes, “Can I?”
Soobin gulped, nodding his head quickly. Yeonjun unbuttoned his pants, slipping his hand in and causing Soobin to throw his head back against the tree with a groan. Yeonjun teased him at first, ghosting his fingers over the thin layer of fabric. It was enough to have Soobin thrusting against his hand in irritation, gritting his teeth.
“Fucking christ get to it alr- oh.”
Yeonjun cut him off by slipping his hand into Soobin’s underwear. He rubbed his thumb across the tip, smearing the pre-cum. He teased some more until his wrist started to ache from the awkward angle and he pulled away. Soobin frowned in confusion and disappointment until Yeonjun started pulling his jeans and underwear down more and his expression morphed into satisfaction. He reached out and started undoing Yeonjun’s pants as well. Yeonjun let out a shaky breath once his were undone, Soobin pulling his jeans and underwear down enough to pull his member out. He wrapped his hand around it and Yeonjun jumped back with a squeal. He giggled with a red face.
“Your hand was cold!” He defended and Soobin burst out laughing.
Once Soobin was laughing as well, Yeonjun pulled him down for a kiss to hide his embarrassment. As the kiss got more heated, Soobin held onto Yeonjun’s waist, pressing it against his own. Yeonjun immediately started grinding against him, rubbing their cocks together roughly.
“Is that warmer?” Soobin teased.
Yeonjun’s face went red again and he lightly hit Soobin’s shoulder.
“Shut the fuck up.”
Soobin dropped the teasing, their heavy breathing being the sound heard. Soobin moved his hips slowly, letting Yeonjun control the speed to his liking. Yeonjun was shorter by a bit, so Soobin held him up with one arm wrapped around the thigh that was hooked around his own thigh. Although his arm was growing sore he didn’t loosen his grip, busying himself with littering hickies down Yeonjun’s neck. Yeonjun had his head tossed to the side with his eyes fluttered shut. Both his arms were tossed around Soobin’s neck, one tangled in his hair and the other balled up in the back of his shirt as he continuously rutted himself against the other. His body ached, but it felt too good to stop.
“This stupid fucking-,” Soobin grumbled as he struggled to remove the bandana that was obstructing him from the rest of Yeonjun’s neck.
Yeonjun chuckled as Soobin tugged on it, letting out a happy hum when it fell to the ground.
“You’re laughing until you have to cover these up for class tomorrow,” Soobin nipped at his collar bone.
“I’m not covering anything up,” Yeonjun shot back.
Although he was sure Yeonjun didn’t mean anything by the words, Soobin felt his heart swell at them. Soobin’s lips made their way back to Yeonjun’s. By now his lipstick had smeared across both their mouths and some had been trailed down Yeonjun’s neck. Yeonjun’s movements began to get more sporadic and messy. His hand now gripped Soobin’s hair so tightly that it brought tears to the taller’s eyes.
“God, I wish I could fuck you right now,” Soobin groaned and Yeonjun’s hips stuttered.
He let out a small whine, encouraging Soobin to continue. Soobin reached his hand between them and jacked them both off with one hand.
“I bet you’d like that, hm? Right outside your job where someone could walk out and see us. I could pin you against a tree and fuck you like that,” Soobin shut his eyes and let the image appear before him. “You’re imagining it now, aren’t you?”
Yeonjun’s needy whine was all the confirmation he needed.
“God, with how much of a whore you’ve been I’m sure you wouldn’t mind if I took you now, needy and unprepped.”
Yeonjun gasped loudly, his stomach contracting as he came. Soobin slowed down his motions to fully work Yeonjun through his climax before releasing his cock and speeding back up to reach his own climax. Yeonjun lazily trailed kisses along his neck up to his ear.
He leaned in, hot breath against Soobin’s ear, “Come on, pretty boy.”
He continued to whisper praises until Soobin came with a grunt, his chest heaving. They sat there collecting themselves for a moment, then Soobin let Yeonjun down, the joints in his arm popping as he did so. Yeonjun stumbled once back on the ground and he groaned, stretching his leg out.
“That was more of a workout than I was hoping for,” Yeonjun grumbled with a smile on his face.
Soobin hummed in agreement. Face flushing as he recounted all the things he’d said. Yeonjun said something else, unbeknownst to Soobin who was mentally kicking himself for all the stupidly embarrassing things he'd said.
“Aw, don’t be all cold towards me now.”
Yeonjun was doing his pants back up. His voice sounded teasing, but there was a hint of insecurity hidden behind it. Soobin zipped his own jeans back up and stared at Yeonjun, who was refusing to look up at him, curiously.
“I’m not, I just couldn’t think straight.”
“Ah,” Yeonjun’s teasing tone faltered enough for Soobin to catch it, “Was that it?”
Soobin stepped forward and pulled the older into a hug. Yeonjun’s eyes went wide, then shut in contentment, a sense of relief washing over him. Soobin rocked them back and forth, gently scratching at Yeonjun’s scalp. He didn’t pull away until Yeonjun indicated that he wanted to do so. He crouched down and picked up Yeonjun’s bandana off the ground. He dusted it off and began to tie it back around his neck.
“Will you be working for much longer tonight?” He made sure it wasn’t too tight around his neck.
Yeonjun shook his head, “Only three more hours.”
“Let’s get you back then.”
Soobin walked him back to the door they had exited from. Yeonjun frowned, not wanting Soobin to leave, but knowing he couldn’t stay here and wait.
“I’ll see you in class tomorrow?”
Yeonjun nodded, already growing excited for the next time he would see the other.
“Bye,” Soobin kissed his forehead and Yeonjun went back inside, waving with a bright smile.
Once he was gone Soobin broke out into a large grin. He jumped and punched at the air.
“Holy fuck,” He whispered, grabbing at his hair in disbelief.
Yeonjun, who still stood against the door from the inside, heard Soobin’s quiet exclamations of excitement and chuckled, shaking his head. This so-called shy boy had quite literally just ruined him without even actually fucking him, gave him the sweetest aftercare he had ever received, and then stood outside the door cheering for himself like a middle school boy. Yeonjun was already head-over-heels.
