Work Text:

They’re a weird group, they know. Lurking in the shadows, invading people’s homes for their own entertainment when the night falls and the innocent sleep. But eternity can get boring, so they aren’t harsh on judging themselves. The night life has long stopped being fun, the clubs are all the same and catching their midnight snack through seduction has long lost its appeal. Seducing humans is too easy, their weak minds drawn to their unholy beauty like the insignificant insects that they are. Even Felix, that had lasted longer taking that route eventually tired out, now set on seducing his very non-human boyfriends exclusively.

Killing unsuspecting victims in alleyways isn’t as fun anymore either. It had been Seungmin’s favourite method for the longest time, and they all indulged him for as long as he still enjoyed it, as he chose his target carefully, meticulously. Seungmin had a good gut feeling; his chosen ones were always feisty, allowed Changbin to let go of some repressed aggression. Seungmin himself would rarely join the violence, would instead watch with a wicked smile on his lips as Changbin broke his toy all too fast, as Chan pulled a teary eyed Changbin away from the human just before he dealt the killing blow.

Dead blood wasn’t good; and as much as they loved watching Changbin’s arms ripple and strain as he threw some scrawny human around, unfortunately they had other needs that needed to be catered to as well. Letting Changbin loose fed his and Seungmin’s need for violence; they liked their victims limp and weak under them, dripping precious blood on the cemented floor of the alley. And while Seungmin was too lazy to get them to that point, Changbin was happy to help him with that. And the others didn’t mind so long as there was some blood left to drink.

When Seungmin got tired of dark alleys, they were happy to finally search for new ways to unwind. New ways to fill their empty existences. It was how Chan had taken a liking to playing vigilante for two whole centuries. For two centuries they only sought those who had committed heinous crimes, monsters they could see reflected in themselves. Two centuries and that got boring as well. They didn’t care for human lives after all, it was all just to make life interesting. Chan liked the hunt, Seungmin liked investigating, Felix liked feeling like he was not the monster for once, Changbin liked that he could torture them and feel like he was doing the world good.

All of them liked the little feeling of danger – although in reality there wasn’t none. They were untouchable, and once they noticed that, the fun was gone. Thus they started to look again, the world was unending and everlasting, surely something could fill their void.

Changbin was the one that gave them the idea, and at first they didn’t buy into it. What fun could there be in invading some boring human’s home and wrecking havoc while they slept? Turns out it was fun. Turns out humans aren’t that boring and each home has its own perks, its own little secret and touch of weirdness. Even when not, there’s fun in having to keep quiet as they play around, bake cakes out of weird mixtures as per Felix’s request. In the end it becomes part of their modus operandi. Leave the cake behind, let the police mull over who could be committing all these murders with no further evidence that can lead to them.

They don’t exist to the humans, nor to their laws. They can’t be seen, and it amuses them how confused the police is that all the cameras always shut off without any evidence of anyone touching them, how there’s not a fingerprint left behind, not a witness to everything that has passed. A silent night that ends in death and mystery. Seungmin has fun in staying behind and watching the drama unfold after they left, Changbin gets to play, Felix gets to make a mess, Chan gets to see all his boys happy and sated.

This is their eighteenth night. Seungmin has chosen a couple’s house, as he often does. He says it makes it more interesting leaving someone alive behind, someone that has witnessed the crime and yet knows nothing of those who committed it. That and Felix enjoys seeing the despair in their eyes as he eats pieces of their loved one. Chan finds it endearing, keeps his hair out of his eyes for him while he eats.

The young couple is asleep as they enter the house silently. There’s no need to pick the lock, Chan only twists the handle until it breaks with a quiet metallic pop. Chan goes in first, carefully peeks inside just for show since he knows there’s no one there. He’s careful, their ears attentive to any hustling on the ground above. He tiptoes with a mischievous smile in his face and beckons Changbin and the others inside.

Unsurprisingly they split up, Felix heading straight to the kitchen to see what atrocity he can come up with, whereas Changbin and Seungmin investigate every room, looking for weird stuff to play with. Chan finds a spot by the window and lets his boys enjoy the night, listening to their hushed commentaries when they find something interesting. It’s a blessing hearing so well. Chan likes to play, but he certainly doesn’t like to look for the fun.

Seungmin finds the couple’s room first, tickles the girl’s toes to see how deep in slumber she is. It’d be a shame if they woke up too soon. She pulls her foot under the covers, but that’s all the reaction he gets. Good. He has a good feeling about this night. Changbin shows up right after he announces he found the couple, poking at the man instead. Seungmin can see how giddy with unspent energy he is, and he can’t help but find it cute.

Felix soon calls them to the kitchen to help with the cake. “I have a special plan for tonight I think”, it’s all the incentive they need to rush to their little chef.

“What do you guys think of leaving some meat cake for our biggest fans?”, his blue eyes twinkle as his smile spreads, ever so innocent looking in his face, although none of them would ever use “innocent” to describe Felix.

Chan raises an eyebrow at that. “Meat… cake?”

Felix’s smile doesn’t falter. “We aren’t that hungry, right? Let’s leave our fans a treat”, he reiterates.

Seungmin jumps Felix in a hug and Chan can’t do anything but nod with a dimpled smile. Of course Felix will get what he wants. They’re all whipped for him after all.

“Can I still play with him though?”, Changbin pouts. “You can play all you want and then dismember him, Binnie!”, Seungmin pinches his cheeks and Changbin squeals.

Chan shakes his head and follows his boyfriends to the couple’s room. It’s almost a blur from then on. Changbin grabs the floor lamp and swings it between his arms as Chan and Seungmin wake up the couple with gentle taps on their sides. The woman tries to scream as soon as she perceives what’s going on, that her house is being invaded, but Chan swiftly shuts her up with threatening blue eyes and a hand to her mouth. The man tries to fight, kicks and punches at a giggling Felix.

Changbin doesn’t take the violence lightly though, and as soon as Felix steps away he’s striking the man with the lamp. The woman isn’t screaming like he’d expect when he’s hurting her husband, and Changbin is too busy to look and find out why that is. Seungmin riles him up, laughs brightly and tells him he looks hot playing with their new toy. It’s sad really how quickly it ends. Changbin gets too into it and forgets he’s too strong, kicking at the man’s ribcage and hears it crack under his foot.

He pouts at Seungmin, displeased that he hadn’t stopped him. “Sorry baby, I didn’t expect you to kick him”, Changbin’s pout doesn’t lessen, so Seungmin kisses it away, a gentle little peck to his lips that Changbin seeks to deepen as soon as he feels it, wanting to taste more of the sweetness that never left Seungmin, even after so many years since his transformation. The woman breaks him out of his love bubble though, her whimpers somewhere behind reminding him he has another missing for his other boyfriend.

“Quiet, darling, you wouldn’t want to end up like him, now would you?”, Chan’s voice is soft on the woman’s ear, her lip caught in her teeth to keep silent despite the fear that all of them can feel running in her veins, and pumping in her hummingbird heart. She shakes her head, jerky little movements as if she’s scared of moving too much, but also terrified of the consequences of not answering.

Chan leaves the woman in Felix’s care and grabs the man that lies limp on the floor. His heartbeat is faint but it’s still there, thus he wastes no time in sinking his teeth in and drinking the blood while it’s hot. The man’s body spasms even in his last moments, and when his heart stops, so does Chan. Dead blood is not good.

The last mouthful he shares, brings Seungmin into a kiss, letting him take the blood from his mouth. The blood smears between them and it doesn’t take a second for Changbin to be on them, lapping up whatever drops he can catch until Chan pities him and lets him get a better taste from his bloody mouth. Felix isn’t hungry, so he watches with heated eyes his boyfriends making a mess of their faces and clothes. Changbin was a mess to begin with, splatters of blood on his arms and chest from his attacks on the new deceased man.

It’s hard to only watch, but Felix knows he’s going to get the best out of it in the end. Waiting has its perks. “Don’t close your eyes, watch as we tear him apart, honey”, he whispers to the woman. She chokes a sob, her eyes still screwed shut. She begs to be released, and with a smile he soothes her, a gentle hand carding through her hair. “Watch and you won’t meet his fate.”

Chan watches, mesmerised. Their Felix is beautiful like this.

The woman decides to obey and opens her eyes, meeting three pairs of eyes watching her intently. This is important to them, that she watches. Chan throws the dead man over his shoulder, “Let’s take this to the kitchen, shall we?”

Felix all but sprints downstairs, and when Chan gets there Seungmin has already placed the woman strategically on a chair by the head of the table so she can have a perfect view of what they’re planning. Felix is already taking out pans and bowls and a blender out. Chan throws the dead man on the table and sees the woman flinch and close her eyes again. Her cries are quiet at least. He sighs and taps her cheeks. “Open your eyes and watch.”

He doesn’t have to say anything else, the woman barely blinks after that, eyes trained on her dead husband on the table, his eyes still open and appearing to stare at the ceiling.

“Where do I start?”, Changbin asks Felix, cracking his knuckles and rolling his blood stained sleeves up. “I need his hands first”, the younger vampire smiles and turns back to what he was doing, asking for Seungmin’s help to whip some cream. Changbin grabs the man’s hand a pulls it straight out. The woman gags, but manages to keep her dinner inside somehow. He shakes the hand in front of Seungmin’s face to see him cringe, which works like magic, then offers him the wrist end. Seungmin suckles on the bone hanging there, getting a taste of the blood and flesh.

Felix is quick to stop them from going further, taking the hand away from both of them and putting it in the blender with some heavy cream and salt. When he looks back Changbin and Seungmin are sucking each others faces off, Changbin licking a stray trail of blood from Seungmin’s chin, and he shoos them away. “Don’t get in the way! I need to make the perfect cake!”

By the time they’re done preparing the cake for the oven, it’s dead hours into the night, and the woman isn’t crying anymore, just looking blankly ahead of her, where her husbands remains once were – whatever they didn’t use in the cake, they stored in the freezer on in the cupboards. It’s not polite to leave the kitchen a mess, is what Felix says. Seungmin knows better; contrarily to what their sunshine says, this is just his way of spreading the mess even more.

Felix sits on the bloodied table, as if tired from all his hard work. They all know it’s just for show, baking a cake would never be enough to tire Felix even when he was human and it’s not like he was the one dismembering the man piece by piece. Chan pulls him to him with powerful hands on his hips and pushes him down on the table gently, his already dirty shirt getting even filthier in the mess the man’s guts left behind as he lies on his back. He settles between Felix’s legs, the woman to their left, still siting at the end of the table, eyes open. She’s trembling, probably in shock, but they haven’t hurt her physically so she’ll probably survive the night.

“Want me to help you relax, Lix?”, he asks, rolling his hips forward. Felix hums and sighs. “Yeah, that would be nice”, he scoffs when Chan kneads at his tiny ass.

“Did the blood make you horny, Channie?”, Seungmin hugs him from behind, chin resting on his shoulder as he looks over it to see Chan’s clothed dick rut on Felix’s ass and drag against his balls. “Well, obviously”, he giggles, the sound lost to a moan when Seungmin pulls his head back to mouth at his neck. “You’re such a blood whore, Channie”, he tuts, but there’s no annoyance in his voice, only lust. Chan tightens his grip on Felix’s hips, lifting him up to pull his pants off.

Soon Changbin is naked on top of the table with Felix, leaning over him and taking the boy into his mouth without hesitation. Things move fast from then on, the thick smell of blood in the air clogging their minds with nothing but the need to fuck and drink more. The woman was tempting, but they wouldn’t want to spoil Seungmin’s fun, so they let her be and focused on themselves.

Chan doesn't even notice Seungmin is gone until the boy is back behind Changbin with a little bowl of whipped cream that Felix didn’t use. While Changbin is distracted in swallowing Felix’s cock, Seungmin dips his fingers in the cream and spreads it over Changbin’s twitching hole, the boy whining around Felix’s cock in surprise. Chan shakes his head in disbelief when Seungmin smirks at him and dives tongue first into the mess, spreading Changbin’s ass to slurp at his rim.

Chan groans and takes his own pants off, his dick already throbbing underneath all the layers. So he pumps himself a few times as he watches Felix finally give Changbin some attention back and suckle on the head of his leaking cock. Changbin’s sounds tell him he is in heaven, and how could he not be when his mouth full and his cock enveloped by Felix’s warm mouth and Seungmin is sucking at his ass like it’s the best meal he’s ever had.

Felix wiggles his ass, snapping him out of his daze, and he kneels down to tease at Felix’s asshole as he kisses and marks up his thighs in pretty shades of purple and red when he nicks the soft skin. His knees slide on the blood on the floor, but Felix moans are loud and deep, sending shivers down his spine and punching needy moans out of Changbin, so he does his best to keep himself steady and continue to suck and bite on his thighs. Seungmin only hums, still invested in opening Changbin up with the whipped cream, and if he notices Changbin trying to fuck himself back on his tongue, he doesn’t let it show.

Chan gathers some of the blood dripping from Felix’s thighs and uses it to ease the slide of his first finger, careful since he knows blood is not the best lube he could choose, but fuck if it’s not hot watching Felix’s own blood fucked into him. Their noises fill the kitchen, and the smell of blood keeps them in a weird sort of high. Changbin comes into Felix’s mouth before Seungmin even gets to fuck him with more than his fingers, not that it stops Changbin from begging Seungmin to fuck him before his orgasm has even faded completely.

Chan coats his dick with the blood that drips from the wounds on Felix’s thighs and he’s fucking him like an animal in no time, hands firm on Felix’s hips to keep him from sliding up on the table, the blood serving as a better lube on his back than around his rim. The drag burns and Felix’s grunts mix in with his low moans. Changbin’s crying as Seungmin drills into him and drives him forward on Felix’s cock, grabbing his hair to keep him with his head low and his mouth full even as he chokes and gags around him. Seungmin’s own moans turn loud as Changbin clenches around him in his struggle to accommodate Felix’s length.

Seungmin’s soon coming, and with the harsher thrusts Changbin follows soon after. Under soft praises, Changbin pulls away from Felix and lets Seungmin take him closer to the sink to start cleaning him up to the sounds of skin slapping against skin as Chan turns Felix around, leaving him face first on the filth on the table, and picks up his pace, railing the boy with abandon. Felix’s head spins with the bloody mess so close to his nose, can’t help but lick at it like a starved man. Chan groans at the sight and bows over him to lick at his dirty back; it’s stale and tastes awful, and instinctively he bites at Felix’s nape to cleanse his palate.

It’s what brings Felix to the edge, and his come paints the underside of the table  and the floor as he shudders through the aftershocks. Chan comes right after him, his moan almost a cry of relief as he fucks his come deep into Felix. Changbin and Seungmin are there to help them up, damp kitchen towels in hand to help wipe out most of the dead man’s blood that now glazes both Felix’s back and front. They barely manage to finish and Felix’s is running to the oven to take the cake out. Chan almost has to fight him to put his pants back on before he starts bringing out the decorations for the cake that he had separated.

He insists they must make it pretty for their “fans”, as he likes to call the feds that follow them around the country. He sets the cake in front fo the unmoving woman, places a bowl with the man’s fingers and another with his eyes beside it, brings out the blood frosting he’d made and the four of them start working on their newest masterpiece. The last detail is making sure the woman was broken properly, Changbin asks if he wants to add anything to the cake, and a tear runs down her cheek, which Changbin kindly wipes away with a soft smile.

Before they leave, Seungmin calls the police.

“We made you another cake, I hope you guys get to enjoy it!”, he says excitedly and hangs up.
