Unknown: This is the place to go to when you need help, right?
First in Line: Depends on what type of help but yes. What can I help you with?
Unknown: I need to help someone and if I tried to do it legally it wouldn't work for many reasons.
First in Line: Oh? Who do you need to help and why do they need help?
Unknown: Takami Keigo otherwise known as Hawks the number two hero. He needs to be saved from the hero commission.
First in Line: If you are suggesting that we need to help you turn pro hero Hawks to villainy then we can not provide you with our services.
Unknown: What? No that's not what I meant. He just needs to get away from the hero commission.
Unknown: I have evidence that the hero commission bought him as a child and then groomed him to be their perfect hero.
First in Line: Well now, that's different.
Unknown: So can I be provided with this service you are supposed to give?
First in Line: Yes. Hold on while I transfer you over to someone more capable to fulfill your request.
Circuit Board: I have been informed of your situation to the best of my coworker's abilities. If you could explain further I can do my part faster.
Unknown: What would you like to know first?
Circuit Board: How reliable is your information?
Unknown: That's what you ask? I wouldn't be contacting you if I didn't think this was real. Are you trying to waste my time?
Unknown: And shouldn't you check it yourself? What if I said yes but was lying? How can you ask me a question that requires so much trust?
Circuit Board: Well yes, we do check it ourselves but you have not given any information for us to check. And this question is merely a test to see a person's true self. You may not understand but your response has already given us information on your situation.
Unknown: Oh.
Circuit Board: Now that we got that settled, we need to know where you got the information from.
Unknown: It’s from the hero commission itself.
Circuit Board: Okay, for your safety we need to know who you are. You won't need to worry about the commission finding out who you are. Our database is very secure.
Unknown: Wait what? I thought this whole thing was supposed to be anonymous? Why do you need my name?
Circuit Board: If we help you there is a very high chance the hero commission will be destroyed. That does not mean the people in the hero commission will stop. If they find out it was someone from the inside that leaked the information, that person is as good as dead. So once again this is for your own safety and protection.
Unknown: I'm not from the hero commission. If I was, I wouldn't care about this information. But also there's a very high chance you won't like who I am.
Circuit Board: Well I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, you did say the information was coming from the commission itself. But please know that your life will still be in danger if we do not help you, no matter how you acquired the information.
Unknown: My life is already in danger. But as long as you will still at least hear me out, I will tell you.
Circuit Board: Yes it wouldn't be good to block you out when you haven't given us any of the information you attained.
Unknown: Yeah and another thing, it's a paper trail. Nothing is backed up on computers. If anything went missing they would get suspicious. So while I don't have the files on hand I do know they exist.
Circuit Board: Okay we will deal with that when we get there.
Unknown: I'm Dabi, part of the LoV. As of right now I am the only one in the LoV that knows about this.
Circuit Board: Ah, that does make more sense. Now, because of who you are and who we are dealing with, I do have to transfer to somebody else. It'll only be a few minutes.
Unknown: Wait, again?
Circuit Board: Boss I think this situation has passed my pay grade.
Red Eyes: You don't get paid?
Red Eyes: But yeah I can see what you mean. I will take care of it and I'll let you know if I need anything from you.
Red Eyes: So Dabi, while I don't exactly trust you, I will listen to you.
Unknown: Am I done being tossed around like a hot potato?
Red Eyes: I should think so, since there's no one to toss you to.
Unknown: Oh, so you're like the person in charge around here? I didn't realize I would be talking to someone this high in the ranks.
Red Eyes: Well you're not the first villain we've helped but you are the first to go against the hero commission. This is kind of a big thing if what you claim is true.
Unknown: Yeah, I guess you're right.
Red Eyes: So you said that you don't have any of the files on hand? Is there anyway that you could get them?
Unknown: I would have to let the league know or at the very least Kurogiri. But I have no idea how they would feel about helping a hero.
Unknown: Also from what I've heard they have someone with a quirk that makes whatever they want not show up on electronics.
Red Eyes: Well that's unfortunate.
Red Eyes: So if you are able to get the files we'll have to meet up and fast. I can't help you until I know what you say is the truth. Unfortunately for you that means I can't help you get those files.
Unknown: Yeah that makes sense. Should I just message this chat room when I do have the files?
Red Eyes: Yes, if you could even message me before you leave to go get the files that would be best. That way I can get ready to see you instead of having the possibility of meeting you in pajamas.
Unknown: Yeah got it.
Unknown: I'll message you soon.
Dabi let out a wet sigh. He has a chance to save Hawks. Now all he had to do was get the files but that was easier said than done. He has to tell the league now because there was no way he was going to be able to get into the commission’s headquarters without help. There was also no way he could just have Kurogiri help him, who knows what is waiting for him in the file room and he doesn’t think Kurogiri will help him without Shigaraki’s permission so he might as well tell everyone.
He could hear screams and laughter coming from below him. Toga’s probably chasing Twice around with one of her knives and disturbing Shigaraki and his game. How is he going to break it to the people who’s group is literally named after being villains that he needs their help to help a hero?
Pretty easily apparently. “I need your help to break into the hero commission’s headquarters to steal a file or more.”
“Okay but why?” Toga’s head tilted like a confused dog. Shigaraki looked at him expectantly and Dabi’s heart dropped to his stomach. Just when he was starting to feel like he could fit in with this mix match group, they were going to kick him out. Unless he could spin this around and make it look good for the league, he was screwed.
“Um, I need the files because I’m meeting someone who requested them.” Shigaraki looked like he had bit into a lemon. What had Dabi said that was the cause of that face? Was it because he wasn’t giving the files to the league? “Is the little bird the one that wants them? Why can’t he do it himself, he practically lives there.”
Oh.
“Actually that’s the reason why he asked me to get them. If any one saw him walking towards or around the file room they would get suspicious if a file or two went missing after that. So to make sure we still have a spy on the inside, we have to make sure not to put any blame on Hawks. In fact part of the group could do some mischief around the area where Hawks patrol while the other part goes to grab the file.”
“Wow, you really trust him that much huh. Yeah I guess we could help. When should we do this?” Dabi was so relieved it almost showed on his face.
“He didn’t really say other than to do it as soon as possible. So if we plan tonight we could have this done by lunchtime tomorrow.” As soon as the word plan came out of Dabi’s mouth a chain reaction ran through the faces of the league. Shigaraki’s face once again looked like a child had tasted lemon for the first time, Toga laughed hysterically at his pain, Twice was torn between laughing and scolding Toga for laughing at their leader. Compress merely chuckled at the scene, the sudden rise in noise caused Spinner to jolt up from the nap he had been taking, and Kurogiri covered his own laugh with a cough.
