Through the looking glass

Summary:

Giyuu is supposed to be an omega - his perfect mate - and Sabito will do everything in his power to make that happen

Notes:

I had this idea for a while and no body has written a fanfic like this so I took it upon myself.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Sabito was a precocious child, a prodigy, and as a result did not play with kids his own age often. Their games being too childish for him, to gentle and not enough bite, he preferred kendo even judo which had been his outlet. There was something about hand-to-hand combat that made his blood run hot, the power he held, one more strike and he could render his opponent incapacitated and begging for mercy. It’s no shock that he excelled in both kendo and judo, so much so that no one dared to challenge him – he got bored, he never lost interest, but his apathy concerned his parents and sister Makomo who tried to encourage him to take up another hobby.

He never did, nothing gave him the same thrill.

It didn’t help that his reputation had caused the other kids his age to distance themselves from him in awe and viewing him as a ‘god on earth’, his teachers putting him on a pedestal he did not ask for.

Not that he cared much for their opinions.

All he had to do was put on a charming smile and say a few kind words and they’d do whatever he asked.

His life is simple and utterly predictable – boring.

They’re learning about the difference between castes – alpha, beta, omega – and as their bodies develop, they will present as one of the following. It was a tedious lesson, one that Sabito gladly disassociated from, it’s not something that he didn’t know about. His sire had drilled the concept into his head, proud that his son was developing as a strong alpha but concerned for his lack of friendly relationships beyond what was necessary.

When class was finally over, he had managed to cut himself on the papers that he was sorting for the next class, some blood pooling out of it – he’d have to go to the nurse’s office to grab a band aid – he stares at his finger in boredom, what a drag.

“Urokodaki-san, are you okay?” The bright voice had taken him from his thoughts. “Did you cut yourself?”

He turns his head to his deskmate, whose name is lost to him for a moment, and looks into ocean blue eyes – he wonders how he was able to forget those eyes – that swell with concern and he grunts, turning his gaze somewhere else. “It’s no big deal. Sorry, if this is impolite, but what’s your name again?”

“Tomioka Giyuu. I’m new to this school.” He hears the other boy fiddling with something before he feels a tap on his shoulder, Giyuu handing him a bunny themed band aid. “Use this. I know it’s cutesy but it’ll work for now, besides I have lots!”

He stares at Giyuu, puzzled. “Thank you, Tomioka-san.”

Giyuu beams at him, offered band aid in hand. “No problem, Urokodaki-san!”

“For your concern, but…”

Giyuu interrupts him. “Eh? Urokodaki-san, what’s wrong?”

“No… I mean, that bandage is…”

The dark-haired boy gasps softly. “Oh! I see… I didn’t realize!” He stands up, grasping Sabito’s hand. “Excuse me for a bit!”

He pulls the paper covering off the band aid to reveal the adhesive and wraps the band aid around Sabito’s paper cut, beaming down at him. “You couldn’t put it on because you couldn’t use your hand, right? How is it now?”

Sabito for the first time in his short life is left speechless, before he can reply the bell happens to ring, the other boy takes his seat beside him and class starts but he looks down at the bunny print band aid in bewilderment – it’s the first time he’s been on the receiving end of such warmth from someone not in his family, it’s a nice change.

He knows from the first sight that this boy is different compared to the others, that he makes Sabito’s stomach curl and flutter in ways he’s never experienced before, he isn’t sure if he likes it or not. Nevertheless, he keeps a close eye on Giyuu for the entire day, studying him, and before he knows it school is over and the other boy is packing his things up to go home.

He doesn’t want the other boy to leave just yet, not until he figures out these odd feelings, he’s getting from being around him.

He calls out to Giyuu before he leaves the classroom. “Tomioka-san.”

He turns, wide blue eyes look at him in surprise before a sweet smile makes it’s way on his face. “Oh, it’s you, Urokodaki-san.”

“Where are you going after this?”

“Eh? Oh. I’m going home. My nee-chan is picking me up.”

He doesn’t fidget under Sabito’s gaze like the other children.

“I see.” He tries his best to sound disappointed. “I was hoping to walk home with you as a thank you for the band aid.”

The other boy blushes, the blush traveling down his neck – Sabito wonders if it reaches further down. “Really, Urokodaki-kun it’s no big deal! Anyone would have done it.”

No, they wouldn’t, people tend to avoid him.

“Really, I insist, I have to do something.” He didn’t want the other boy to leave just yet. “Are you free tomorrow? We can go to the Tokyo Skytree together.”

He shakes his head, shyly. “No… but, if you’d like I’m free Sunday… we can play together then.”

“Really?”

“Really, I’ll ask my parents first.” He fiddles with his bag, grabbing a pen and paper and quickly jotting a set of numbers down before handing it to him. “Here is my phone number.”

Sabito is ecstatic at the other boy’s reply, Friday – he gets Giyuu all to himself Sunday, can study him to his heart’s contents.

“If everything goes well then I’ll meet you in front of Asukusa Station.”

The other boy nods, enthusiastic. “Yes! This would be my first outing with a friend since moving here.”

He blinks. “Do you not have any friends?”

“Ah! Well…” He twiddles with his fingers, sheepishly. “I tried to talk to everyone… but they seem busy and I didn’t want to bother them.”

Sweet, Giyuu is sweet.

“So, you consider us friends?”

“Are we not, Urokodaki-kun?”

“Sabito.”

“Pardon?”

“If we’re friends, you should call me by my first name. It’s Sabito.”

If possible Giyuu brightens even more. “Ok, Sabito. Please call me, Giyuu then.”

“I’ll see you on Sunday, Giyuu.”

“See you Sunday, Sabito.” With that the other boy waves goodbye before he promptly leaves him alone in the classroom.

Sabito makes his way home in a jolly mood and if his parents notice his change in demeanor, they kindly choose to ignore it, happy that their child was finally acting like a child his age – talking about his new found friend, which relieved his parents’ worries for his lack of interactions with other children, and how they were going to go out together on Sunday.

“Sabito!” He hears his dame’s voice calling him downstairs from his room.

“Yes!” He calls back.

“Could you please come down! We have new neighbours to introduce ourselves to.”

“Why?”

“Because it’s the polite thing to do Sabito!” His mother yells from the bottom of the stairs. “So, you come down now, or I’m revoking your shinai. They have a son your age too!”

He groans, he was planning the perfect outing with Giyuu and some unknown brat of a neighbour’s child had to ruin it. But he does, begrudgingly, make his way down the stairs to his parents who usher him and his sister out to welcome the new family to the neighbourhood – Sabito doesn’t understand why, they’ll introduce each other and then never talk again as it always goes, a useless endeavour but his parents are ones for formalities that he as their child has to suffer through.

He understands his parent’s curiosity though, they live in a rich neighbourhood in Chiyoda – it’s not an easy place to get a house in, either you inherit a home as your family is already well off or your family is already so well off that they manage to purchase a home despite the ridiculous price tag.

His neighbour has a traditional Japanese style house, in comparison to the western style home that his parents own, which Sabito likes for the aesthetic – the time spent on maintenance is ridiculous but worth it in his opinion, Sabito would like a home like this, his grandparents have one in Yufuin.

His parents ring the door bell, he hears a shuffle before the sliding door at the entrance opens to reveal ocean blue eyes. “Ah! It’s Sabito.”

“Eh? Giyuu?”

An older male omega comes out to join him, eyes sparkling like the night sky. “Oh hello! Do you know them, Yuu-chan?”

He nods. “Kaa-chan, this is Sabito, he’s my friend! We’re in the same class!”

“Is that so!” He bows to them, a bright smile on his face. “Thank you for taking care of my son, Giyuu is awfully shy so it’s nice to see him take a shine to someone.”

His dam raises her hands in front of herself, before bowing herself. “Not at all! We were glad too! Sabito’s been talking about Giyuu non-stop. He’s a difficult child to get along with so we’re glad that he’s found somebody to connect with.”

Giyuu’s dame claps his hands in delight. “Oh! I’m glad, please do come in! I’ll make some tea. Yuu-chan will you please grab the lemon meringue pie we made yesterday?”

“I’ll go with you, Giyuu.” Sabito interjects which makes the other boy laugh, grabbing his hand as they made their way to the kitchen to grab the pie.

Their parents and sisters were talking and laughing with each other when they arrived with the pie, like they were long lost friends rather than strangers.

Giyuu’s dame waved at him to come closer which Giyuu, being the obedient child he is, did promptly – his dame whispered something in his ear which made his eyes widen but he nodded nonetheless before going back to Sabito.

“Kaa-chan told me to go show you my collection.”

“Collection of what?” He asks as Giyuu drags him away.

“You’ll see, my Kaa-chan said that you might like them.”

Perhaps that’s what seals the deal, when Giyuu leads him to his own personal room and shows him his collection of knives – describing the make, origin, blade, and handle with such depth that it has him mesmerized – he’s unlike any other person his age that he’s met, he’s perfect.

“This knife I got as a gift from my Aunt in Canada, the handle is made of deer antler. It’s a deboning knife which is why the blade is narrow to make it easier to penetrate and remove the meat off the game you hunt.” He hands the knife over to him to inspect. “The tip is very sharp, so be careful when you hold it, Sabito.”

“You… you would trust me with a knife?” He asks. “What if I stabbed you?”

Giyuu tilts his head, eyes wide with wonder. “But you didn’t.”

“But I could have. You could have died.”

“You wouldn’t have.” The other boy insists.

“How do you know that?”

“I just know.” He replies softly, certainty laced in each word, with blind trust.

Sabito doesn’t have a chance to ask him about what he meant by that when Giyuu hands him another knife in his shockingly empty hands – he doesn’t know when Giyuu managed to take the other knife from his hands without him knowing, but what he does know that Giyuu’s dame was right he did like Giyuu’s collection of knives.

But he likes Giyuu more, likes the way he sparkles as he passionately talks to him about each and every knife he can before they are called away and Sabito has to go back to his own house.

He dreams of Giyuu that night, dreams of holding his hand and leaning onto each other, enjoying each other’s warmth and company.

When he wakes up, he realizes what the feeling that’s been plaguing him since their first official meeting is – the sense of belonging, the warmth, the desire to keep seeing him again and again – he’s in love.

They become inseparable after that, a pair, there’s never one without the other. Having Giyuu hand around him made him more approachable to others. They no longer kept him at an arms length, actually speaking to him and asking for advice or help on homework or kendo – it was a pleasant change, though tiring.

He was popular before, but his popularity skyrocketed after people deemed him more approachable. His fan club tripling in size, much to his dismay as he has to work his way around them to get to Giyuu so they could eat lunch together. But he couldn’t imagine his life any other way despite knowing of his previous apathy and disdain for the other people in his class – Giyuu truly was a godsend, he was no longer bored with his shining star at his side.

Everything was great up until middle school where Sabito could suddenly smell things, smell everything and anything. He became irritable, his smile slipping when things didn’t happen the way he wanted them to, a painful itchiness spreading across his body. It’s just him and Giyuu in an empty classroom waiting for the next class to start, their classmates having left for their short break in between classes.

Giyuu noticed his odd behaviour – of course he would, he’s Giyuu after all, his Giyuu.

“Sabito.”

“Yes, Giyuu?” He tried to keep a neutral expression on his face, but judging from the worry on Giyuu’s face he wasn’t fooling anyone.

“Are you, alright? You don’t look well; shall we go to the nurse’s office?” Giyuu asked, blunt and to the point.

He shakes his head.

“Are you lying to me, Sabito? It’s not good to lie.”

“Of course not!” He insisted, his migraine making itself more pronounced. “Why would I do that?”

Giyuu was silent for a moment, looking down and then back up at him, lips a thin line before he roughly says. “Because you say it’s unmanly when men make the people around them worry about them, so you pretend that everything’s fine. It’s a bad habit, Sabito.”

“That’s hypocritical don’t you think, Giyuu? Don’t you do the same thing.” He glares, the irritation consuming him.

Giyuu opens his mouth, only to close it and bow his head, fully knowing the conversation was over – class hadn’t started yet so he could take Giyuu up on the offer if the need ever arises.

Suddenly an array of scents bombard him, assaulting his very being, his head throbs and the itch comes back in full throttle – he feels aggravated, he wants to fight someone, to smash something to make it all stop – but a meek scent manages to calm him down, the smell of rain and jasmine tea, all he wants to do is bury himself in it.

The itchiness and irritation go away as he focuses on the scent, eyes glancing around till he realizes that the scent is wafting off of Giyuu – sweet Giyuu who came up to him without hesitation, without fear, to see if he was alright.

“Sabito? Sabito?! W-We should go to the nurse’s office, you look pale.”

He looks at Giyuu, taking in his much stronger scent from the proximity, he wants more of that scent.

“Ah! I know, wait here, Sabito. I’ll go get the nurse.”

But before Giyuu could go, Sabito grabs onto his arm and pulls him into an embrace, he buries his face into the other boy’s shoulder, trying to take as much as the calming scent into his lungs as he could – it was sweeter up close, with a hint of vanilla, the rain and jasmine tea scent more prominent.

“Sabito.” He hears Giyuu, but he can’t register it, he was too busy taking in his lovely scent.

Giyuu is flailing at this point, trying to get Sabito to notice how tight he was gripping his arms, he is sure Sabito will cut the blood flow to them – there will be bruises when he manages to finagle his way out, but Sabito is making it impossible. He’s always been stronger than Giyuu and his face aggressively pressing into his throat is not helping. He feels Sabito let out a short breath, his grip loosening and Giyuu relaxes only to feel the sharp prick of fangs on the left side of his neck.

He does the only thing he can, he screams.

It takes five grown alphas to manage to pry Sabito off of Giyuu, and Sabito is growling the entire time – volatile – biting and scratching, kicking so he can return back to his omega so he can complete their bond. To entwine their scents into one.

Giyuu is his – his omega, he needed to protect him from these trespassers, needed to get them away from them, to go somewhere safe.

Before he can do anything else, he feels a needle go into his arm and the world goes black.

Sabito presents as an alpha at school, he is the first to do so.

When he comes to and goes back to school after his rut is over, Giyuu is there his neck bandaged but still just as lovely and warm as ever.

“Welcome back, Sabito.”

“Giyuu! I’m so sorry, I bit you! Are you ok?!”

“Oh! I’m fine. Just a little bruised, but it isn’t your fault, people go haywire when they present.”

“Are you sure? Let me treat you to ice cream of something.”

He puts a hand to his face and giggles. “I’m fine, Sabito. It’s just a scratch, really.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m sure.” He shakes his head, fond, “Besides, it’s not deep enough to scar. So, it’s fine. Shall we go to class?”

“… If you’re sure.”

“I am. Let’s go, Sabito.”

“Lead the way, Giyuu.”

Sabito couldn’t help but glance at Giyuu’s neck for the entirety of the day, luckily Giyuu didn’t notice, and a part of him wishes that the mark did take and scars over.

That way everyone would know Giyuu is his, but he supposes he can be patient and wait for Giyuu to present.

He would wait for Giyuu for forever if he had to.

His lovely sweet omega, he can’t wait to solidify their bond.

To his utter bafflement, Giyuu never presents as an omega, but he doesn’t present as an alpha either, he’s a beta which isn’t an issue except that he grows taller than him.

Being a beta isn’t a problem, the lucky thing is that they would never have arguments over territory or dominance.

Alpha-beta relationships are not unheard of although they tend to be temporary in the face of an actual bonded relationship, they're quite common in this modern era. But that is not what Sabito desires from Giyuu. He wants Giyuu to be submissive to him, wholeheartedly and utterly his, by inescapable nature. He imagines Giyuu begging and quivering for his cock inside his hole while the fires of his heat tumble through his veins and leave him restless and without filter. At night, when he pleasures himself, he sees Giyuu purring for Sabito in his sleep, teasing him and urging him to fill him up till his essence spills out of him entirely.

When he sits and eats lunch with Giyuu he can’t help but thinks of having a doting, swollen-stomached Giyuu leaning against him and sleepy from pregnancy. He imagines sugar sweet kisses from bright candy red swollen lips that had just been wrapped around his cock, mewling for more and oh… he would give Giyuu anything he asked for and more.

What bothers him is when he spots Giyuu laughing at a joke another boy told him, Sabito thinks his name is Murata – another alpha, it makes a hot white rage grow in him, jealousy pooling in the pit of his stomach – the thought of Giyuu being courted by anyone but him is infuriating.

Sabito will not allow such a thing to occur. He will do what he must to ensure Giyuu is his and his alone – his bonded mate and little else.

It’s easy when he figures out about Giyuu’s inferiority complex from the way he praises him, that he’s confessed to Sabito one too many times about his fear that people dislike him, that he’s afraid of what people think of him.

Giyuu makes Sabito’s job easy, but that’s what he likes about Giyuu he’s simple, blunt, and to the point. A few whispered words to the girls at their school, here and there, and some persuasive blackmailing with the other boys in their grade to bully Giyuu had him crying on his shoulder over what they did and the fear in his love’s eyes were intoxicating.

“I’m so sorry for being clingy, Sabi.” Giyuu hiccups, clinging to him. “And annoying… and troubling you with my problems.”

Sabito hugs Giyuu, letting him cry into his shoulder, rubbing soothing patterns into his back a smirk on his face. “It’s okay, Yuu. I really don’t mind. Those people don’t know what they’re talking about. You’re perfect just the way you are.”

You’re perfect when you’re only mine.

Nobody at school talks to Giyuu anymore, if they do talk to him it’s to berate him, which only feeds into his distress and anxiety which makes him cling to Sabito harder.

Lovely, his Giyuu is at his loveliest when he is only his.

It takes a few years for Sabito to develop the correct formula to change a beta to an omega, luckily such a result was not a particularly difficult one. But to turn an omega into a beta would be a difficult task that requires major body modification, supplemental energy reserves and muscle build up - to turn them into an alpha would be even harder. But for a beta that is waif like Giyuu it’s a simpler process to convert them into omegas, the trick is to reintroduce particular hormones into the bloodstream and let their bodies do the rest of the work – a domino effect as a result of the added estrogen, progestogen, and estradiol as the womb was being created. Giyuu would go into heat right after the injections had taken their course through his body, his newfound instincts making him ache to be impregnated and Sabito being there to drink it all up.

It’s easy getting his hands on the drugs necessary to turn Giyuu, his parents happen to run one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Japan and it helps that his other relatives happen to be in the medical field if he required more assistance – they’d have to help him anyways considering the fact that he has enough dirt on them to completely strip them of their careers.

Not that it matters to him.

It’s his and Giyuu’s last year of high school and he had finally grown taller than Giyuu, 6ft 4” to Giyuu’s 5ft 9”.

Giyuu ruffling his hair, smiling small and fond. “I don’t know what we’re feeding you, but you’re growing like a weed, if there’s room for you to grow more I’m sure you will.”

His words make Sabito chuckle, who knows if he’d grow any taller than he had.

Giyuu hadn’t changed much though, still as beautiful as the first day they met, but now he’s more of a recluse – that’s due to Sabito’s meddling though.

“Oh, Giyuu. I got you a drink from the vending machine since it’s hot out.”

“Thank you, Sabito.” He says taking the bottle from him. “I needed that.”

He drinks every drop in the bottle.

“Nobody like you, To-mi-o-ka-sa-n~” Shinobu says to Giyuu who flinches slightly at her words.

“I-I’m not hated.” He insists.

“Oh my!” Shinobu laughs. “I’m sorry, that you haven’t even realized it yet! Please forgive me.”

Giyuu says nothing, just clinging to Sabito harder after the encounter, tears welling up in his eyes as he hides behind Sabito’s taller figure,

They go home together, holding hands, a comfort for both of them.

Giyuu ends up falling asleep on his bed, tired from the stress of going to school and having people constantly pick on him, he runs his fingers through silky black hair, smiling when Giyuu leans into the touch and purrs – adorable, his mate is adorable.

He hears Giyuu’s phone ring three times before he decides to pick it up. “Hello? Sabito, answering for Giyuu.”

“Ah Sabito-kun.” It’s Giyuu’s dame. “Could you tell Giyuu dinner is ready?”

“Of course, I will.”

“Thank you, Sabito-kun. You’re welcoming to come for dinner too.”

“I will, Auntie, thank you.”

“Alright, dear. I’ll talk to you later. Take care of my son for me.”

“Will do.” With that he hangs up the phone.

“Thank you for answering the phone for me, Sabito.” Giyuu says, sleepily, rubbing his eyes.

“I’d feel bad, waking you up and all, Giyuu.” He rubs the back of his head sheepishly. “You looked peaceful.”

Giyuu laughs, sitting up and stretching. “Fu, thank you, for that Sabito. I haven’t slept that deeply in weeks. Just like when I passed out on your bed last week, I don’t know what it is about your bed but I sleep better on it then my own.”

It’s my scent.

Giyuu remakes his bed, before putting his coat back on. “I’m sorry, but my Kaa-san called for dinner, correct?”

He nods. “He did.”

“Well I best be off, Sabito. Thank you for everything, see you tomorrow.” He waves goodbye at him before disappearing through the door.

Once Sabito is sure that Giyuu is gone, he lifts the blanket to his nose, Giyuu scent overpowering his own.

Ah, the hormones he’s been giving Giyuu are working.

His composure melts away at the knowledge and it makes his cock swell against his control. He grinds his teeth, sniffing at the blanket that has Giyuu’s scent saturated in it, arching hisback against the bed where Giyuu had laid just minutes ago. He growls at the scent, simultaneously emboldened and riled by the blooming omega scent.

He presses the fabric tighter against his face, taking deep inhales, the other delves into his uniform pants to wrap his fingers around himself. He drags his fingers up himself slowly, teasing the spots he knows are most sensitive. When he’s completely hard, he unzips the zipper and slides himself out. Knowing how close he already is, he does not bother to undress himself any further.

“Giyuu,” he growls out, eyes closed an image playing out in his mind’s eye.

He pictures the curved veins of Giyuu’s pale neck, the way the flesh strains when he swallows nervously on nothing, jaw clenched. He sees the vibrations of his throat when he moans around food and imagines Giyuu moaning in carnal pleasure instead.

“Sabito” Giyuu calls out in his mind, teasing and on the edge of ecstasy. “Sabito. Sabito. Sabito.”

Over and over again, he calls out his name, voice becoming breathier as Sabito imagines himself buried deep between his meaty yet muscled thighs. Giyuu would be wet around him, if he has his way, he would be hot and sweet and perfect for Sabito, moaning beautifully for everything and anything he can give.

When Sabito finally comes, he drenches his fingers as well the blanket he has stretched himself out on, thrusting absently against the soft fabric. He sees white and bites down on his pillow, imagining it to be Giyuu’s lovely neck. He dreams of the vibrant splash of blood that would result if he had pierced Giyuu’s neck and marked it.

He waits, just a little longer now and he’ll have Giyuu completely.

During English Literature, Giyuu started to feel hot, a tingling and painful feeling spreading to the lower regions of his body, his breathing becoming laboured. Giyuu shrugs the symptoms off, classifying it has a fever. He manages to make it through the entire day, despite the dizziness and the nausea, and if he leans more onto Sabito on the way home the other boy says nothing.

They’re in Sabito’s room again, doing homework like they always do - Giyuu sitting on the floor and Sabito sitting on his bed - but Giyuu feels out of breath, his skin scorching – it doesn’t feel right, he doesn’t understand. “What’s happening to me?”

Sabito can smell Giyuu’s tears, can taste them, the scent of an omega in distress present in the air. The scent making him ache to pull Giyuu to his chest and comfort him, coo out soft words and rub comforting circles into his back. But in Giyuu’s current state doing anything without his explicit consent could be damaging to him, both physically and mentally, so he restrains himself. He leans forward so his face is in Giyuu’s direct line of vision, tipping his head down, and relaxes his posture to show Giyuu that he isn’t a threat.

“You’re under a lot of stress, Giyuu.” He raises his hand to press against Giyuu’s forehead before letting it drop slowly to cup his cheek, Giyuu promptly leaning into the cool touch – a relief for his hot skin.

How darling.

“I think you’re going into heat, Giyuu” He pauses, looking into Giyuu glazed over but confused eyes.

“Heat? How could I be in heat? I’m a beta, we were tested for our secondary gender.”

“It’s rare, Giyuu, but not impossible. Some people develop later than others, so those tests aren’t always accurate,” It isn’t a lie, there are rare cases were such things occur, though Sabito had to take Giyuu’s change into his own hands.

Sabito draws Giyuu up to the bed, his firm hands a tether for Giyuu’s quivering body to follow, as he places Giyuu on his lap. He positions him so his legs straddle Sabito’s own.

This position is chosen for a reason, it gives the illusion that Giyuu is the one in power – that he has the choice by letting him rest atop his lap, the lap of the only person he trusts in the world aside from his family. Furthermore, this position allows Sabito to gently take Giyuu’s neck in his hand and bend him down towards his own in the placre where his scent is the most saturated. After some encouragement, Giyuu goes the rest of the distance himself—lured in by a biological impulse despite his dreamy state.

A few long minutes later, Giyuu’s tears have subsided in favour of leaning into the hands that have threaded themselves through his inky black hair, his face hidden in the side of Sabito’s neck where his scent is strongest. While Sabito laments that the increase in Giyuu’s anxiety is unfortunate, the fact that his hands and scent alone are enough to calm Giyuu down is exceedingly lovely.

After a while Giyuu is the one that breaks the silence. “Am I an omega, Sabito?”

“Yes, I think you are, Yuu.” A shudder goes down Giyuu spine at his words – Sabito can feel it beneath his fingertips as he rubs comforting circles into Giyuu’s back.

“Can you smell it?”

Ah Giyuu, always blunt and to the point even when asking a predator if he can smell his supper.

“I can.” He replies, soft, his reply a complete understatement of how he feels, Giyuu’s scent is starting to drive him crazy. “You smell wonderful, Giyuu.”

“Why?” He asks, breathless. “Why is this happening?”

Sabito pauses, trying to come up with an answer.

I want you as my own, mine.

Sabito shrugs. “Maybe it’s the Gods, they wanted us to be together you, an alpha and omega a perfect pair.”

Sabito has never been particularly patient, his hand makes its way an inch lower to the waistband of Giyuu’s uniform pants. Giyuu says and does nothing, simply breathing a little deeper against Sabito’s neck. His other hand makes its way underneath Giyuu’s shirt, gently touching and exploring the nooks and crannies of his chest which cause his back to arch. The change is miniscule from Giyuu’s usual controlled behaviour, but Sabito realizes that Giyuu as a result of prolonged exposure to his alpha pheromones, has drifted off into a lucid sort of sleep.

He can touch Giyuu however he likes and the other boy would just take it.

Slowly, he drags his hands up and down Giyuu’s body, seeking out omega pleasure points that he had read about for this exact moment. Some points make him gasp, some don’t do anything at all, and others make him jerk so hard Sabito wonders if he would wake up from his haze. The best spot, Sabito found, is when he touches the nape of Giyuu’s neck which is hidden by his long hair. It causes his hips to thrust forward and finally brush against Sabito’s hard length. A soft mewling sound escapes Giyuu’s plush lips at the motion.

Adorable, positively adorable.

Sabito’s hands reach for Giyuu’s uniform pants again, deftly unzipping the pants and pulling them down so they’re around his ankles. He wonders how Giyuu’s body must have changed due to his meddling, what the hormones had done to him, but it doesn’t matter much not when Giyuu is his – his omega, made and controlled by him. He pulls Giyuu’s underwear down, revealing his pretty semi-hard cock. He brushes his fingers against the underside of it which cause Giyuu to cry out and inhale sharply.

“Sabito. That feels–” Giyuu never gets to finish his sentence as Sabito wraps his hand around the base of his cock and circles up the head and teases the slit, causing him to realize short moans.

The sounds that drip out of Giyuu’s mouth are like honey, so sweet that it makes him wish that he could take Giyuu apart in every intricate and unimaginable way that he knows Giyuu would enjoy with every fibre of his being.

But this is Giyuu’s first time, he has to be considerate, it’s about his pleasure since it’s Giyuu’s first but every time after that will be for Sabito’s pleasure.

His other hand slides down Giyuu’s lower back so he can bury his index and middle finger into Giyuu’s plush ass, until he reaches Giyuu’s entrance and he enters them easily, he’s so wet for him it’s like a dream – his opening sucking his fingers in greedily as he goes in and out, Sabito wonders how it would feel for his cock to be in that tight heat.

He chuckles, low and dark, when he hears Giyuu’s cries and mewls become more desperate – his mouth dropping open and forming a perfect “o” from the pure pleasure he was receiving, drool escaping, wrecked.

“Oh, Giyuu. My darling, wonderful, sweet Giyuu.” He murmurs as Giyuu shudders into his hand, coming completely undone, white come spilling onto his fingers as he slumps into him–Sabito has him all to himself now and for always.

He kisses the sleeping Giyuu on the forehead, fond, and takes his slick covered fingers out of Giyuu’s opening before taking them to his mouth and tasting it – it’s sweet, just like Giyuu, addicting it makes him want to eat Giyuu out but perhaps another time, Giyuu is tuckered out.

When Giyuu comes too, he is red and blushing for his behaviour which makes Sabito laugh.

“I’m so sorry, Sabito, for forcing this onto you. Please forgive me, please don’t leave me. I’m sorry.”

He embraces Giyuu and kisses him on the forehead, peppering butterfly kisses around his face. “Oh, Yuu, I wanted to help you. Don’t worry about it, it’s not your fault. Some things are uncontrollable.”

“Thank you, Sabito. I was afraid I’d lose you.”

“You won’t lose me, Yuu. I’ll always be with you.”

He nods, a smile gracing his face as he looks up to Sabito with bright blue eyes.

“Hey, Giyuu.”

“Yes, Sabito?”

“Is it alright for me to court you properly?”

“Eh?!.” If it’s possible, Giyuu blushes even harder. “Are you sure you want me? Sabito, you could have anyone, surely you deserve the very best.”

Giyuu is so unbearably sweet that all Sabito wants to do is drown in him.

He takes Giyuu’s hand into his own and kisses them, winking at him. “I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life, Tomioka Giyuu, will you do me the utmost pleasure in allowing me to court you?”

Giyuu nods slowly, his voice soft. “Yes.”

Sabito takes his shoes off at the entrance of their house, grinning when he sees Giyuu come to greet him without him having to say a word.

“Okaeri, Sabito.”

His heart swells with joy. “Tadaima, Giyuu.”

Sabito captures the omega’s lips in a kiss, long and slow, he had missed this – has missed Giyuu. Giyuu groans into his mouth, loops his arms around his neck and opens his mouth just a tad wider, inviting him to dominate his mouth and make him quiver with need. He eventually releases Giyuu who carries a dazed expression on his face before he picks him up in a princess carry eliciting a soft laughter from the other man.

“Are the kids asleep, Giyuu?”

“They are, Sabito.”

“So, does that mean that I have time to ravish you?”

His mate nods, hiding his face in the crook of his neck. “Only until the sun rises.”

“That’s all I need.”

He places Giyuu down once they reach their bedroom and Sabito begins to undress his mate slowly, wanting to savour every moment he can before their beloved gremlins wake up. His fingers caressing each inch of skin presented to him in silent worship, and when Giyuu is naked, his hands settle on his thighs. Giyuu, suddenly aware of his nudity, shrinks into himself despite them having done this hundreds of times before – it never gets old for Sabito, how cute Giyuu can be. It takes another deep kiss from Sabito, one that strays from his omega’s gorgeous lips to his jawline and sucking marks into his neck for Giyuu to open up again. Sabito mouths over the base of his neck, his tongue sliding over the healed claiming mark and sucking marks it, he contemplates reopening the mark. He chuckles when he hears Giyuu’s soft whine, a silent plea to bite down and reopen the claiming mark which he will do, but not yet.

“Onto the futon, Giyuu. I want you comfortable.”

Giyuu is quick to obey, as he has always been, and presents himself to Sabito to take as he pleases. Sabito’s hungry gaze lays upon Giyuu’s pert ass as he undresses to match him. He’s wet, there’s a thin trail of slick trailing down the cleft of his ass and proceeds to drip down his left thigh. It’s a beacon calling to Sabito through the hazy cloud that is Giyuu’s scent that always serves to make him go drunk. He is in rut now, discernibly so, and Sabito cannot resist the temptation of the feast laid out before him. He drags the rough pad of his thumb across the skin, all the way to Giyuu’s puckered and fluttering entrance, just begging him to put his cock in him and use him as a glorified fleshlight.

“Sabito.” Giyuu moans out as he sticks three fingers into the warm wet heat without warning, pumping in and out. He makes sure to play with his mate’s prostate, eliciting more moans and cries from his mouth his cock weeping and clearly on the edge, but Sabito trained Giyuu well and Giyuu will only come once Sabito has given him the command to.

“Sabito, Sabito, please.”

He hums, appreciatively at the sight. “Not yet, Yuu. Be patient.”

He pumps in and out, in and out, his mate’s soft mewls music to his ears. Once he deems Giyuu stretched out enough he slides into him with ease, Giyuu producing so much slick that it takes little effort to breach him. He can feel Giyuu shudder at the sudden penetration, his walls constricting slightly as he shudders before relaxing – pliant for his alpha, like a good omega should be – but despite the stretching and slick Giyuu is still tight around his cock, so warm and welcoming that Sabito feels like he’s melting every time.

“Kami-sama, Giyuu, you’re still so tight.” He begins thrusting, slow and deliberate, watching his mate squirm in delight. “And warm, I would stay in you all day if I could, have you on my lap to warm my cock.”

He hits Giyuu’s prostate particularly hard causing him to jump and let out a loud moan, he takes his fingers and places them near Giyuu’s lips which he obediently opens so he can stuff his fingers into his mouth to keep him quiet. “Oh, Giyuu. Do you want the kids to hear? For them to walk in and watch as their precious Kaa-chan becomes nothing but a debauched whore for their Tou-chan? Maybe you’d like that, having them watch you.”

He shakes his head, vehemently.

“No? You say no, but you got tighter from me mentioning it.” He slaps Giyuu’s ass, causing his walls to contract. “It’s ok though, I like you slutty, our children don’t need to know. But I think it would be a good lesson, to show them how and where they came from, they have a right to know. I’d spread you open and show them everything, that their Kaa-chan is beautiful everywhere.”

He shakes his head again.

“Do you feel shame at the idea? You shouldn’t.” Sabito starts pistoning into him, hitting his prostate with startling accuracy, Giyuu’s walls pulsating around him. “You’re mine after all, Giyuu. My omega and omegas do what their alphas tell them too. It doesn’t matter where and it doesn’t matter when, just be prepared for me to take you in every way possible.”

He feels Giyuu nod and he smiles, kissing the nape of his neck. “You’re a good omega Giyuu, my omega.”

He sits down on his butt and props Giyuu on his lap so they’re infront of the mirror in their room, he takes his fingers out of Giyuu’s mouth only to grasp his face with his free hand, ensuring that Giyuu is looking at his reflection. That his omega is watching him bounce him on his cock, watching it slide in and out of his welcoming hole, praise spilling out of his mouth as he feels his orgasm rushing in on him. His knot is forming, blood rushing to the base of his cock. “See how perfect you are, Giyuu? Look at you, my gorgeous omega, all mine, mine.”

“Yours, Sabito. Yours, always.” Giyuu whines, calls out his name so sweetly that for a moment, Sabito forgets that Giyuu was ever anything other than this – his gorgeous, writhing omega, beautifully spread to take his cock.

“Giyuu, come for me.”  That command is all it takes for Giyuu to spill out across the sheets.

He simultaneously arches his back into Sabito’s chest, nestling the knot further into himself without meaning to. The sporadic contracting of Giyuu’s inner walls clutch onto Sabito’s cock in every pleasurable angle that it feels as if Giyuu is melting around him. That his pliable body is turning to liquid from the heat Sabito is filling him with, and despite all the times they’ve done this before, Sabito will always be in awe at the fact that Giyuu can take whatever he dishes out. He jerks and roars, losing control as he sinks his sharp teeth into Giyuu’s willing pale neck to reopen the bonding mark. With that, he’s coming, white pleasure blinding him so intensely that everything but the heat and his mate falls away. There is nothing but Giyuu’s scent, that has mixed and been sullied by his own – a claim.

They’re both heaving and out of breath, but Giyuu manages to turn and give him a chaste kiss on the lips with his swollen candy red lips.

A smile making it’s way on his face. “Welcome back, Sabito.”

He returns his smile with his own, taking Giyuu’s left hand into his own, kissing his ring finger. “I’m glad to be back with you, Giyuu.”

They wait for his knot to settle down before Sabito has to clean them both up as he has rendered Giyuu incapable of walking. A barbarous sort of glee wells up inside of him from the knowledge that Giyuu would feel him still inside him for days after this, but it did not sit well with their children when they found out their Kaa-chan couldn’t walk after he came home.

Especially his adopted daughter Nezuko, who growled at him at every turn and refused to let him anywhere near Giyuu for the next few days out of pure spite, but the antics make Giyuu laugh and Sabito loves the sound of his laughter.

It’s when they are alone together in the moonlight once more that Sabito says. “I love you, Giyuu, more than anything else this world.”

There are tears welling up in Giyuu’s eyes at those words, he treats them like the most precious thing in the world because that’s what they are to him. “I love you too, Sabito.”

He leans in, making sure their foreheads touch. “Together forever, Giyuu?”

“Always, Sabito.”

Giyuu can never leave him now, they’re bonded forever, for life and even in death.

To an outsider, Giyuu is trapped like a bird in a cage but what a beautiful cage to be caught in.
