    “What do you think you’re doing, Sakura?” His eyes were glinting with anger and Sakura could see his lips pressed in a thin line.

    “Please, Sensei. Punish me for everything. I can’t stand you being mad at me. Please, I’m begging,” Sakura could feel the tears coming. Her eyes stung and she could hear thundering in her ears. She was laying herself completely vulnerable in front of him.

    He stared at her in silence. The seconds passed slowly as Sakura breathed heavily. Kakashi suddenly let go of her head and leaned back in his chair with a sigh. He threw his head back and rubbed his face, as if he was tired.

    “You’re awfully confident, asking me to forgive me. Telling me to punish you.”

    Sakura shook her head, the tears flowing down her face, “Just desperate.”
