When the young man emerged from the back room and lifted his face up to meet Erwin’s, it was Kenny’s grey eyes scanning him. It was uncanny how similar they were. Although that was where the similarities ended. Levi’s dark hair was neatly styled the same way it had been the day before. His pale skin smelled like unscented soap, which was odd that he even noticed it. His face was still sharp, but up close he could see the soft flesh under his cheeks and his nose turned up just a bit. The feminine features complimented the hard lines of his jaw and eyes. Erwin could only describe Levi as uniquely handsome.
“You wanted to talk to me.” Levi said, breaking Erwin’s from his staring.
“Yes, if we could step outside, I have some questions for you.” Erwin said, clearing his throat. Levi gave a nod stepping out from behind the counter. They sat at a table across from the coffee shop. “Levi, I'm Detective Smith. I have some questions about this man,” he pulled out a picture of Yeager. Levi’s eyes widened before he regained his composure. “What can you tell me about him?”
