“Lucy, I know things are bad between you two right now, but Tim just left the station and something is wrong." Angela’s voice cracks as the last words come out fragile. “I’m worried that he might try something.”
Lucy’s heart rate skyrockets, her body instantly flooding with adrenaline. She jumps up from the bed, pulling the phone from her ear.
Before she can even form a question, a text notification banner appears at the top of her screen.
10:43 pm: From: Tim
I’m so sorry. For everything.-
Set at the end of 6x07, Tim leaves his emergency therapy session in a bad place. Luckily, his best friend can see right through him.

Summary
The case should be routine. But it isn’t.
When Lucy is assigned to investigate a series of assaults targeting women who look disturbingly similar to her, instinct tells her there’s more at play than just random violence. As the pattern reveals itself more and more, so does the realization that some threats aren’t just about the job, they’re about who you are.

Summary
