Summary
"What brings you here at this hour, brother? Hopefully no other matter that requires our attention."
It is left unsaid but it is clear as day what he means: matter regarding your children. Maekar scowls. "Aerion is in his rooms, so hopefully we'll make it to dawn without any further incidents." He says, sprawling on one of the chairs with a grunt. "It is just something that Daeron said, it is giving me a fucking headache."
Baelor remains silent, his mismatched eyes making him feel as though he is a boy of seven once again, calling on his older brother for help.
"He says he dreamt of the trial for the past week. Saw a dragon dying and the hedge knight surviving."
or
What if Daeron mentioned the dream to his father? What if Valarr insisted that Baelor finds a helmet that fits better? What if gods decide to let Baelor live?

Summary
When Dunk finds a pretty stone whilst scavenging the blood-soaked fields of Redgrass, he isn’t expecting it to crack right open in his hands.
Nor is he expecting a dragon with two golden eyes to stare up at him.
Desperate, he does the only thing he can do - become a servant at the Red Keep just long enough to ditch the dragon, and hope no one sees him making a hasty exit.
But someone does, and Prince Baelor Targaryen has already proven himself to be a very, very patient man.

Summary
The story goes something like this… when God first created the Andals, they were monstrous beings with four legs and arms, who, although they loved each part of them fiercely, were unable to survive on their own without the help of the Gods. So they had separated them into two beings, and as they grew and thrived, they noticed that they would spend their lives searching for that other half. Sometimes they were able to find it, and their lives seemed complete and full of joy and love… most of the time they were unable to, and their lives were spent in the search for the other half of their own being.
It was why, when the Gods arrived in Westeros with the first Andals, they gave them a gift for this new and immense space. A blessing so they could find their other half, the one being in the whole continent that could complete what was inside of them… their soulmate.
Since God had seven faces, seven different blessings existed.

Summary
“I… don’t rightly know what it was that I did that brought me here in the first place, sir.”
“Be a great help with Aegon, for one.” Baelor moved some, ostensibly to reach the serving plates set on the table beside them, and his arm brushed against Dunk’s. The beef he was turning over suffered a little at the contact. “Putting up with my family’s antics, for another.”

Dunk is on a beach vacation with the Targaryens. He's still trying to piece together the chain of events that led him here, but, well — he might as well enjoy the sun.
