It doesn’t really bother him because he doesn’t need it. He doesn’t need a bunch of stuff of his own because he feels connected to the world in a way that’s special, in a way that is uniquely his.
And this connection does not come from anything worldly. It doesn’t appear when others are around, and while Roman is an actor and he adores it— He’s been doing it for years and some of his most treasured memories come from those hours on stage— it’s not his first love, nor can it compare.
The stage cannot compare to the cosmos.
