Summary
Alhaitham stepped into the waters of the oasis, his feet sinking slightly beneath the surface as he walked, each step further into the unknown. Around him, versions of himself lined the shores, reflections of failures and attempts, all trying to reach this point, they all tried, and they all failed.
A timeline where forbidden knowledge and the withering has corrupted not just Sumeru, but reality itself. Alhaitham has a promise to keep, no matter how much it might hurt.
