Doug is a hockey player who transferred from Minnesota State to Greenwich University in Kate's hometown. When he accidentally tackles her to the ground outside of the chemistry class they're both taking, they suddenly find the other inescapable, and they soon realize that oppositely charged ions aren't the only things that are drawn to each other.
