“Well yeah, but I didn’t think… I didn’t know if you’re that kind of boyfriend,” said Atsumu.
Sakusa raised an eyebrow at him. He didn’t seem to understand what Atsumu meant, and that wasn’t surprising. Atsumu wasn’t sure what he meant, either.
After a moment, Sakusa said, “How many kinds of boyfriends are there?”
Atsumu winced. “Well, uh… two kinds, I guess. The kind you take home to your family and the kind you don’t.”
Sakusa seemed to consider that. “Which kind am I?”
Atsumu didn’t want to talk about this He wondered if he could fake a heart attack to get out of the conversation. “I dunno. That’s up to you, I guess.”

If Sakusa is looking straight at Miya, instead of the back corner where he’s supposed to be aiming, it is not of his own volition, or in any way his own fault.
So it is also not his fault when his serve— with all of the power he can muster— goes on a very different trajectory than he intends.
It is most definitely not his fault when his serve hits Miya fucking Atsumu straight in the side, and Miya bites down on his own tongue.
Five times Sakusa didn't know what to do about how attractive he found Miya Atsumu, and one time he did.
