“That’s better,” Hifumi coos. And then he abruptly turns Doppo around and pushes him to the front door, tossing his briefcase at the salaryman. “Now go, or you’re gonna be laaaate! Your lunch is in your bag already, don’t forget to eat it!”
Doppo makes a small noise of protest, one that’s drowned out by the shuffling of shoes and creaking of the opening door.
“Yo, Doppo-chin!” Hifumi calls from behind. Doppo whips around, thinking that he's forgotten something, only for Hifumi to blow him an imaginary kiss. “Have a good day at work!”
Doppo freezes. Gapes. Panics. Slams the door shut harder than he intends to.
Holyfuckingshit.
