He lets out a short, bitter breath and scratches the sheets, keeping his eyes on him. The more he thinks about it, the more it makes sense. The name Van Eck suits him, if only because it carries more gradneur than Hendricks does.
He turns to the wall and tries not to think about how Wylan looks even more like a prince when he’s asleep.

And then there’s the knowledge that Jesper has evidently been sitting almost completely still for hours. That even after everyone else left, he’d stayed in this empty, quiet room, in a position that surely couldn’t be that comfortable, just because he wanted to let Wylan sleep.
He doesn’t really remember the last time someone touched his hair for this long. It feels good. He doesn’t want it to stop.
