Summary

Summary

Summary
Sasuke and Sakura are not a love story that survived the war. They are two people the war made into something harder and more useful than they were before, who found each other on a road they were both already walking, and who did not know they were building a family until a seven-year-old girl with no one left in the world looked at them and said: yes, this is where I belong.
For the ones who lost everything in violence they had no agency over. For those who built something from nothing. And for the ones who came back too late to see it. An ode to the commodity always hit the hardest by war and its aftermath – the children.

Time travel Canon divergent fic, starts with angst, but morphs into adventure - aka another way the story of Shippuden could have been told. Major Team 7 friendship buildings, highly Sasuke-centric, maybe eventual Sasusaku. Post-war, repentant Sasuke! Genjutsu Sakura! Strong Team 7!
