Bakugou Katsuki obviously isn't straight. It's no surprise that Midoriya Izuku, who has known him for over a decade, realises this. Of course he wouldn't miss such an important detail about his childhood friend! In fact, Midoriya Izuku is such a good observer, that he is the first person to notice that Bakugou is, in fact, asexual. (He isn't.)
Alternatively:
Midoriya Izuku is blind to what's in front of him (a Bakugou that is in love with him).

Gripping tight to the handrail along the wall, shoulders and arms flaring in pain from his own body weight, he shuffles – great, he’s an old man shuffler now – down the hallway. “Izuku!” He calls out despite the early hour. “Izuku!”
And then another nurse is confronting him. “Sir, please keep quiet and go back to your room.”
“No.” He growls, working his way past the male nurse. “Izuku!” He calls again.
A faint noise catches his ear to the left, “Kacchan?”

After being rushed to the hospital for their injuries in the war, Katsuki wakes up and realizes he doesn't know what happened to Izuku. And if someone would just tell him, then he wouldn't have to search all over the damn hospital for the idiotic nerd.Bookmarked by perivelle

Where Bakugou feels guilty about their childhood, Izuku doesn't know what to say, and they find that they don't need many words to communicate, after all.
Izuku lets his gaze drop to Kacchan’s fists, instead, and finds them clenched so tight he’s surely leaving half-moon impressions on his palms. There’s no smoke leaking out between his bone-white knuckles but, then again, Kacchan has always had impeccable control of his quirk.
