The original story starts vaguely like this: A trans girl vaults the wall separating two sibling schools: Cerrial Academy and St. Grey’s. St. Greys, her previous school, is all-boys. Cerrial Acad is all-girls. You pickin up what I’m putting down here?? Yeah? Okay.
Translated to DNDads, Nick is trans and vaults over to St. Grey’s. He’s taken in by a few students to ensure his enrollment and safety (in their time, the school staff is iffy about trans rights. FOR SHAME).I initially planned on making Nick son of… the sun (lucifer? little sunshine? get it? sorry)… but the original girl was demigod of fire, and that story arc is literally so voluptuous for Nick, so. Yeah. I can’t promise I’ll get there in this fic but the thought was there. The thought IS STILL here.
