You hum in thought, one finger tracing down his front, over the sheer material covering his abdomen. Does he know how it tensed under your touch? Does he know how much you like it?
All it takes are two sharp movements. One yank forward, with your fingers curled around the belt loops in his pants. Another, with them hooked in the choker around his neck. He gasps, his Adam’s apple dipping so pleasantly against your knuckles, and you can practically feel his grip on the railing tighten in tandem with the widening of your smile.
“Maybe I ought to,” you tease. “I don’t think I’m satisfied with your work.”

You’re partway through trying to figure out the subtlest way to slip out without getting caught when the lump in the bed moves, and you’re already stringing together the best apology you can manage when the blankets flip back. You’re stuttering something about how you’re leaving, you promise, you never saw anything, when a pair of dark blue eyes meets yours from across the bedroom.
You freeze, chest going tight.
“Xavier? What are you doing here?”
