The first taste of Robby's blood against his tongue is exquisite. Transcendent.
He didn't expect it to be so good. When he fed from his own wrist it was pure bliss. But this? This is beyond that. Beyond what he had the vocabulary to even describe. He's had human blood before, yes, but it was from blood bags. It was old blood, not fresh. Not beautifully warmed to the perfect temperature a body needs to maintain homeostasis.
