“You fucker!” Katsuki yells, he brings Red Riot down in a quick jab at his softened neck. He registers briefly that the vigilante had kept his promise and released his Quirk. He smacks the cuffs onto his wrists and leans down. “What the hell did you do with him?”
“What are you talking about?” Red Riot asks. Voice weak.
Katsuki raises a sparking hand, “Kirishima. Where is he?”
Red Riot stares at him. Then starts to laugh. Loud peals of laughter that shake his shoulders and echoes around the street. Riot lets out a mournful whine. Katsuki pushes the vigilante away from him in disgust. In heartbreak.
“Katsuki,” Red calls, “Katsuki look at me!”
He doesn’t. He refuses.
