Nero had hoped, perhaps foolishly, that he'd be able to move on now that he'd gotten what he'd wanted. There was no denying he'd be thinking about the experience for weeks to come—Dante's hands, Dante's dick, the sound of his voice as it'd cracked, just barely, during his orgasm—but perhaps that'd be enough. Sate his curiosity, soothe his overactive demon-puberty fueled libido, and let him live his life in peace.
He'd been horribly wrong, of course, because that was the life that he apparently lived, hopping from one problem to the next like he was bearing some sort of curse.

Summary
Living in the castle has been a stifling experience, from strict timelines and schedules to guards constantly at his back. It’s more structure than he’s ever had to deal with before, even though he’s lived here for several years now; he’d been an unofficial son to the king for years, but it wasn’t until six months ago that they’d made it official.
From that moment on, everything’s only gotten both better and worse for Nero, and he’s still working to find a new life balance with the sudden change in his social status.
Part of that balance has been adjusting to his two new shadows, the warwolves who were bonded to him not long after his adoption: Dante and Vergil.

It had started in the days after he’d finished dealing with the lingering after-effects of the Qliphoth, this strange, deep unpleasantness in the very recesses of his soul that Nero just can’t seem to shake. At first, he thought he’d just needed time, to process his feelings or whatever about the colossal upheaval of his life that had come from Urizen and his associated revelations. Or maybe he’d just needed more space, having spent too long in that cramped van with his newest chain-smoking partner in crime. Maybe he just had a really nasty stomach ache from living off canned soup and shitty bread for a month.
But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into a month, Nero was starting to get the feeling that there was more to this than just the emotional fallout of the Qliphoth Incident.
