Summary
Chloe contemplates the records for a moment, then tucks the Patsy Cline one away with the rest of their vinyl. She’s got her back to Max as she slides the Johnny Cash record out of its sleeve and places it on the platter. As the music starts up, Chloe walks towards Max with an expectant smile, holding out her hands and Max allows Chloe to pull her to her feet.
Max laughs and joy bubbles up in her chest as Chloe attempts to spin her. She nearly loses her balance in the process, but all Max can focus on is how bright Chloe’s smile is. With spinning proven to be too risky, Chloe pulls her close and they begin to sway vaguely in time to the music.
