Summary
El Hopper was dead.
Every version of her she had been, who she had become, who she never would have the chance to be if it hadn't been for them, was gone. She was dead. Or at least, that is what she needed them to believe.
El lost everything that night in November. Her family, her friends, and the love of her life. The future that should have theirs, that she had always known they would never get the chance to have. This is the story of the years that follow, a story of how she survives. How they both survive. A story of love lost, of a love enduring.
