Summary
Esteemed leading detective by day and notorious assassin by nightfall, that is the man Naib Subedar is, known by the public as Inference but under the cloak of night he disguises himself as Hound. Recently a rising star has been making the billboards, his ashen blonde hair and twinkling golden orbs looking back at his mismatched red and black ones on the document of Hound’s newest target. The two have had history before but neither party knew— Ronald of Ness of the Golden Rose Theatre and Mr Inference. The mission was easy, break into his residence and slit his throat in the silence of the night. There was just one tiny problem: Hound is attracted to him when he meets his prey.
