Depowered and has given up on attempting to escape, John lives with Butcher now. He mulls over being beaten and humilated daily but sometimes Butcher can be nice. That's all it matters no? Homelander goes with Soldier boy to Fort Harmony to try to find the Compound V. Nothing could have prepared him for the betrayal that would follow as he is left alone and abandoned without his powers. The only way his day could get any worse is if his arch enemy found him in such a weakened state and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get his revenge.
But Homelander is willing to do almost anything to survive.
