“Like you guessed, I don’t get out much. It’s an awful shame.” The older man sipped his drink now, and Anakin watched blond eyelashes flutter at the sensation, trying to look away after too long. He was certainly pretty- not that Anakin had paid too much attention to the fact. Maybe all royalty was pretty, or was supposed to be pretty. Maybe that was what made them royal- or maybe it was the other way around.
Maybe he’d never know, or think about it too much by the time Kenobi was off his ship.
“So, while we’re grounded here-” Anakin settled in closer, trying to build a tension- or maybe he’d spotted one too many bounty hunter-types huddled at the bar and felt the need to keep his words hushed. “Mind telling me more about what I signed up for?”
