Jay peers up at the youngest through his lashes. “You have to promise to be honest with me.”
Riki chuckles. “I don’t think I’m the one you need to be saying that to.” They continue to stare, quietly assessing each other like silent killers. Jay doesn’t move, neither does Riki. His breath feels caught, like if he exhales the entire essence of reality would crumble around him.
Riki isn’t putting up a fair fight. His shoulders are drawn back, neck straight, looking down at Jay like he’s some filthy, low-life creature. Jay shivers. Riki smiles.

“I don't know,” Jungwon replied, eyes glued to the TV as the camera panned across Jay’s ending fairy- eyes practically sparkling beneath blue strobe lights, beads of sweat running down the curve of his chin while his look pierced through the camera. “Jay-hyung looks awesome, though.”
