Summary
“Stop doing that,” he warns, his voice carrying a solemn edge.
“Huh?” Luffy blinks, confusion flickering in his eyes. “Doing what?”
“Hiding from me.”
Or;
Luffy had a strong, muscular build, shaped by years as a college boxing champion and later refined through his work as a firefighter. He was fast, powerful, and carried an unshakable confidence in what his body was capable of.
After the birth of his daughter, however, his body changed in ways he hadn’t anticipated, and it never quite returned to what it had been before.
Now he struggles when he looks in the mirror, unable to reconcile the image in front of him with the way he still feels inside.
Law, for his part, has never once looked at him as if anything about him were missing.

Summary
The table was a battlefield of noise.
Ace shouted, driven by that fierce need to protect what he didn’t quite understand. Dadan argued, her complaints masking a worry that was choking her. Garp spoke from the pedestal of his own certainties, his voice ringing with the tone of a man who had never known doubt. Sabo threw words into the air, desperately trying to lighten an atmosphere that weighed like lead.
Everyone was talking. No one was listening.
In the eye of the storm, Luffy felt himself fading. He grew smaller, invisible, sinking into a space where his silence was swallowed by everyone else’s volume. No one noticed he was drowning right there at the surface.
Then, Garp’s voice cut through the chaos like a blade:
"If you could just behave like a normal child, Luffy... maybe Dragon wouldn't have left."The silence that followed wasn't peaceful; it was devastating.
Sometimes the world doesn't break from blows or thunder.
Sometimes, it shatters into pieces right at the dinner table, between the rice and the regrets.Bookmarked by justperagain

Summary
He was pouting openly, standing with one leg slanted and all the grace of a street delinquent. The hem of his skirt fluttered carelessly above his knees. From a distance, he might have looked like a particularly ill-mannered young maid.
Which was precisely the problem.
Luffy was a boy—had always been one. He had grown up in this manor as a hall boy.
And now he was supposed to wait upon the master?
As a maid, of all things?Bookmarked by justperagain
