  Summary

  The 2026 World Cup came so fast it smacked Jude in the face how long he’d been playing for England. How long he’d been Trent’s best friend. How long he’d loved Trent but had to bottle it up for the sake of football. Trent the loss of his life… to keep everything else.

  Trent was shocked by how long he’d been alive. The fact he made it to the next World Cup was an achievement in itself for him. After years of self hatred and abuse he’d found Jude who cured that hollowness through his laughter and gentle touches, if only for a moment. Jude who made Trent want to spend more time on Earth, but he’d never have enough…the loss of his life.
