Summary
Nothing drew in the schools of men quite like weak women, and sweet little Taggie was destined to spend a lifetime shackled to the first fool that caught her eye. At least, that’s what Maud had thought. Yet, without a whit of her mother’s smarts or cunning, Taggie was carving out a life for herself in the Cotswolds. It eats at something inside of Maud, to see her daughter break away from the prophecy laid at her feet. It was one conquest Maud had never made.
Or: Taggie and Maud both find love young. There, the similarities end.

Summary
An embellishment for 'Bella,' (Book 12), in which Ross helps Demelza through the aftermath of her assault by Paul Kellow. Includes emotional and sexual healing. A reader who goes by the name 'icyspryte' gave me the idea to write something to "spice up" the twelfth book, so I must thank her by giving me that little push. And I agree with her-the last book needs some color, and Ross needs to be less of an idiot, although he goes on to perform one of his most idiotic stunts shortly after this scene in the book, which my fic doesn't get to. Once an idiot, always an idiot.
