Summary
After Sybil’s death, Violet thinks it’s improper for Tom to remain in Sybil’s room in the ladies’ hall. Tom, being a young man with no wife, would be sure to set off gossip if people were to know. Cora is aghast at the suggestion that they kick him out of his room. It seems only fitting that he should remain with the rest of Sybil’s things. Tom moving out means Tom moving on, and Cora just isn’t ready for that. Set during the latter part of season 3. One-shot. Canon compliant.
