Summary
Din Djarin needs a new ship.
Greef Karga makes him a deal - do some work for the guild and he'll get a brand new gunship. One such job takes him to a planet with a volatile storm system to track down a double-crossing bounty hunter. What he doesn't know is that the bounty hunter is there to loot an ancient Jedi temple. What neither of them know is that someone else is also on the planet searching for the temple.
And then the storm rolls in.

One minute, he’s fixing a leaking fuel line on a Razor Crest that had docked in the hangar the evening before, and the next, he’s cradling a Mandalorian’s head in his lap.
An alternate first meeting, canon-divergent version of events in which Din and Luke first meet on Tatooine. Then the Empire comes. Nine years pass until the events of S2E08 "The Rescue." Nine years in which Din Djarin believes that his husband is dead.

当Din睁开眼时，首先映入眼帘的是一张久别重逢的脸庞——丛林的风穿过时，斑驳的树叶光影在绝地漂亮的脸上跳跃流淌，忽明忽暗，让Din微微恍了神，竭力仰起脖颈，试图从泥地上撑起身子。
绝地率先打破了沉默，明明眼角蕴着笑意，声音却凉飕飕地飘过来：
“听说你在外面到处跟人说我俩睡了？”
“……”Din缓缓地把后脑勺重新贴回地面，目光空洞地望向头顶那片摇曳的树影。
他觉得自己还能再多晕一会儿。

There had been no Seeing Stone on Tython that Grogu could use to call for a Jedi. They had survived Gideon's light cruiser mostly by luck. And now Din Djarin is trapped between trying to resume his old life with Grogu in tow or facing what wielding the Darksaber truly means for him and his people. Mostly he just wants a nap.
Luke Skywalker is looking for Jedi artifacts he can use to help build a curriculum for the school he seeks to create. Not that he knows where it will be. Or how to find pupils. But then he runs into a shiny stranger whose beskar armor makes him a null space in the Force. And he doesn't know who Luke is.
Intrigued (and in need of parts to repair his ship), he Skywalkers his way into tagging along on the latest bounty.
They just might change each other. And everything else.
