    This story follows Lily Bakewell, a 13-year-old girl who has been raised since she was a baby by her parents, Victor and Miranda, as a piglet to become their food. Lily accepts her fate with submission and even finds satisfaction in pleasing her parents.
    At school, Lily maintains a normal life with her best friend, Amanda, who is unaware of Lily's true purpose. However, at home, Lily is treated like livestock and participates in conditioning activities living in a pen in the yard. All so that one day her parents can release her into the woods and then enjoy hunting and eating her. As the hunt approaches, Lily's training intensifies approaching the climax of the story where a series of events will determine if Lily is hunted, brought home, and cooked for dinner.
