“You look so pretty today, Felix-ah,” Hyunjin says.
Felix just re-bleached the roots of his hair yesterday. He doesn’t even look up at Hyunjin's words, he just keeps staring at the mirror, trying to get his bangs to fall correctly and thinking about how many blond strands of hair had fallen out when the stylist was brushing it fifteen minutes ago. He really shouldn’t be messing with his hair at all, not when they’re supposed to go on stage in twenty and his hairstylist already did her job, but he figures that he should be allowed this. He should be allowed to touch his hair because it’s his, but he almost feels like it’s not anymore.
“You’re pretty,” Hyunjin repeats, but Felix can only stare at the floor.

Or alternatively, Hyunjin watches Felix wonder what their lives would have been like without all the hair dye.

”Please,” he begged, his voice cracking. “ Please, baby, wake up.”
Felix didn’t move.
Didn’t breathe.
Didn’t answer.Chan’s breath left him in a ragged, broken cry, his forehead pressing against Felix’s, his body curling around him like he could somehow shield him from the truth.
Felix was gone.
And Chan’s world shattered.

Summary
The cup tumbled toward the floor, splashing its contents in Felix’s direction and soaking the carpet. Jumping away like he had been burned, Felix yelped as he flew across the room to avoid the mess.
“Shit, I gotta stop spilling water on you,” Chan laughed nervously, clearly joking to hide his embarrassment, “Sorry, Lixie, are you okay? Did it scare you?”
“Yeah,” Felix breathed out, approaching the damp carpet with his sock feet cautiously, “Scared me.”The 5 times Felix almost lets his secret slip in front of Chan, and the 1 time that Chan catches him.
