But not far enough, as they seem to find one another, and solace in the other, at every turn. Accidentally, of course. Because they really can't stand each other. Auctions sound kind of off-putting.
Sports auctions? Well, really, what do those entail?
To Jeongguk, it meant the perfect opportunity to act on his hatred for Taehyung.
For Taehyung? Just a chance to finally get out of his dorm.
Come dropping a shit load of money, and some strawberry waffles, Jeongguk might have gotten a little more than what he bargained for—but in all good nature, the suffering he put Taehyung through was quite worth it.
But was it also worth it to slip up on his feelings every once in a while during their time together?

Summary
Kim Taehyung is just trying to survive university without the entire student population figuring out that he cries at the drop of a hat (not that he's ever cried after dropping his hat, but, you know, idioms. They don't make sense). Add in some bullies, a not-so-chance encounter with a lacrosse player named Jeon Jungkook, some overprotective hyungs, an adviser dead set on failing him for the semester, and suddenly Taehyung's junior year is sending his already unstable emotions into a spiral that complicates his life to hell and back.
But he wouldn't have it any other way.
