Quick to discern whether he could help or if he was too late, Shuichi rushed over to the figure on the ground. He heard a quiet splish! from under his shoe, and immediately lifted his foot with a gasp. He couldn't make out the color of the liquid in the dark, but the consistency and the way it puddled up around the victim's head told him more than enough. With a quiet noise of horror, he dropped to his knees beside the victim to see who it was.
Ouma-kun..?!
During the investigation for his third class trial, Saihara Shuichi stumbles upon an injured classmate and does all he can. And maybe a tad extra.
